I guess their executives LIKE having a set date where they can no longer make any profit from their release and giving the control over said date to a pair of companies they can exert zero influence over.

It really is great. I haven't finished it yet, since I lost my save data at one point, mostly due to the fact that my original copy of the game is from the wrong region, and so I couldn't use any DLC. So now I'm playing through it again with the expansion.

Also I just found a guy sleeping in a haystack; he told me not to bother him.

Really? Huh. For me, it just scratches so many itches, half of which I didn't know I had.
Throwing people off cliffs is great fun, though.

edit: Oh, my password was wrong. My new rage is that Windows 8 says you can't log into your computer when you get the password wrong instead of being straightforward and telling you the password doesn't match. And also that the 4-digit code I was logging on with mysteriously deactivated.

For some reason, windows data... something or other decided EU IV was a risk to my PC.

Stupid windows inbuilt security features.

Truck is still broken. Needs a tow truck. Thank the various deities that I'm a local driver now, or I'd be mad enough to bite through plate metal by now. As it is, I'm just frustrated over the prospect of going an entire week or more without working or making more than the pitiful "downtime pay".

I find consoles hilarious because (in addition to what BFEL stated) it's only a matter of time before we have computer emulators for every console, and all the console games will get pirated for free, and the producers that refused to put it on a computer in the first place won't be getting anything for them anymore.

Actual rage: sitting in public library and some guy is on his phone with the volume way the hell up so every clack on the touch keyboard is broadcast for everyone to hear it.

Minirage.  Recently hired to a work from home remote tech support company.  Given night shift for my training. 4:00PM Eastern to 12:30 AM.

Received paperwork via email today that requires a legal third party (Notary, CPA or Lawyer).  Due by Wednesday.  Apparently it's to affirm that I am indeed a legal US citizen.   

Why couldn't they have given me this paperwork on Friday like all the other paperwork so I can actually find one of those things and maybe even get it done before I have to start working?
