I mean goodness...if that level of feedback is reached then its mightily a good thing. Unless there's something up with the feedback (and the dev should give positive criticism of it...not just criticism like that junking up mah thread thing).

Well, I have been harping on the point (economy, early game flow) and he has said other places what the state of the game is, and that some things should improve with future updates. So maybe I am flogging a bit of a dead horse. But the Steam release just happened so there's a lot of new people to the game, where before the forum was very quiet except for one thread of feedback.

Maybe he's trying to defend his game, but he could have done that with an explanation rather than a promise and basically insulting me a bit. Maye he's awkwardly implying I should be quiet so other voices can be heard (I doubt this since he's said so many times how every post gets read.) Maybe he's taking the feedback personally (which is what I suspect) because they have another game out there I play, and the design choices between the two are similar. Both mechanically and philosophically. And it's their tendency towards the grind that I'm critiquing. Maybe he just thinks I'm a douche.

Whatever his motivation was, you don't tell your customer to pipe down. Jesus I take calls on a daily basis from my customers suggesting things to me. Never once have I told them "Hey thanks for the feedback, but maybe you could call me less?"
