Sounds like a synopsis of the "Teen Paranormal Romance" genre. Or the authors of said books.

I know. I just pulled about a pound of dirt out of my carpets with a single run of the vacuum cleaner(it was badly needed). Granted, some of that was dust off some cabinets and dressers.

Now my entire room smells like burnt dirt and spraying air freshener didn't help.

My daughter got some books from my wife's mother (her parents are divorced, and I'd prefer not to associate with her at all, but my wife insists on dealing with her, even though she's a horrible backstabber. Anyway,) and 3 of the 4 are in the "Dear God" series. My wife is a neo-pagan, and I'm an atheist, both of which are common knowledge. RAEG.

Well, at least you know two things now:

A. She wants to convert your daughter, so you can take steps against that in the future.
B. She's using some of the worst possible conversion tactics possible. Quiet conversion is generally a tactic to use on older individuals, and loud conversion would be noticed.

I suppose the rage is more from the betrayal of trust than the conversion attempt, though.

It's both, really. Just...the audacity displayed is disgusting.

Didn't get to have breakfast this morning. Mostly my own fault, that I woke up late and had to rush to work, as I stayed up too late last night playing DF and Elona (a pseudo-multiplayer rougelike). RAEG at those games for being so addictive, RAEG at my own lack of self-control. And of course, my stomach RAEGing at me for dumping nothing in it but coffee and stale donuts.

But when will the game be done!?
Eight years.
So Dwarf Fortress will be done on Friday, September 14, 2012.

MaximumZero, simply read your daughter some more exciting, thrilling tales about Norse, Greek and Roman Gods. :D That'll take her mind off the comparitively boring Christian one.  8)

The only real exciting tales about the Norse, Greek, and Roman mythology are things that small children shouldn't be reading and the censored versions of them are boring.

Pfffffff.
I read the Epic of Gilgamesh when I was 8.
Besides, like Christian mythology is any better.
That shit's more fucked up than anything any of the Norse gods did.

I haven't eaten for the past 3 supposed-to-be-meal-times, there is no food in the house, I have no transport to food. I am running on a sleep schedule of 5 hours per 2 days. I have summer school, where the building interior is 98 degrees Fahrenheit because the school is retarded. This same stupid fucking shit head keeps calling my phone from Louisiana, asking for his same stupid fucking shit head friend after I've repeatedly told him to fuck off. I am about to scream impotently and fall asleep from rage.

Strangely enough, the anti-Christian sentiments in this thread are not making me any less Raeg-y. I wonder why.
