unfortunately, there isnt a good way to get a URL link to videos to post in forums and such when using the mobile app.

The mobile app has some nice features, for sure-- but the "Nopey nope! No linking for you!" thing is BS.  I frequently have to tell my phone "No, open in the browser." "No, SERIOUSLY, OPEN IN THE BROWSER." about 3 times in a row before I can get Youtube.com up in the stock browser, THEN search for a video I know of, just to get the link to post.

Mmhmm... most of the major software companies are either like that or trying to be like that. If your software is the gatekeeper, you collect the gate toll. If you can get a majority of users to adhere to your software, and it's not compatible with anything else, then even the people that aren't using your gate likely has to pay your toll, too, just so they can do business with th people that are.

Capitalism ho, etc.

Hey, Google, I don't really care what you do to youtube and my information, but please, for the love of anything holy, please stop moving the fucking 'Video' 'Image' etc tabs around on the search page for no good reason. I search for something to eat or whatever and the second tab will be 'Videos', I search for 'x gameplay' [where x is a game] and majority of the time the 'Videos' tab will suddenly move to the 'More' drop-down-tab. I cannot explain how annoying it is to just change for no goddamn reason where those things are positioned.

The thing that has annoyed me the most out of all the youtube changes arw the playlists while you're watching a video. It used to be next to the video, even when you have the larger screen, but they changed it so on the larger screen it overs part of the video. Why did they do that?

Google still obeys the TLD rules for services.

Etc. That convention was pushed in the late 90s, and despite that being "confining" to web developers, they still often obey the convention with a "land then redirect appropriately" behavior. Many big sites, not just google, still obey.

Oh shit, this happened to me in September, I rubbed my heel raw with the dress shoes on the inauguration of the academic year and the very next day I had to go buy a lab coat. And I took a wrong turn on my way back, so instead of ~10 minutes, I made a biiiiig circle around the city outskirts which took me ~90 minutes. Ouch.

Half of the class answered with "Judaism".

This is made even more stupid by the fact that we talked about Judaism in class literally the day before.
