First I wrapped it in paper towels. The cheap brown kind. Ouch. Then, I cleaned it, butterfly-bandaged it, and taped gauze to it. Then, just now, I took off the wrappings, and put a new butterfly bandage on, then put on two band-aids to hold it together. It doesn't look so bad, but that's because it's been held together tightly for about four hours now. I know if I pulled it apart (Oh god ow no.) it would go all the way to the bone.
If you don't want to bother with bandages, you can also clean, sanitize, dry it, and apply superglue (over the top of it; not inside obviously). Holds things together nicely without the inconvenience of bandages wrapped around your fingers.*

I was considering this for Tuesday, when I have to go back to work. I think I'll sugerglue it and put one of those finger condoms on it.
I take it a hospital visit isn't an option? This sounds like exactly what stitches are for, but if you haven't got insurance then that's a Hell No.

“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

Yeah, being less than wealthy in the US and trying to get healthcare is a big nope.

Yeah, pretty much. Good luck, then. Make sure it's stuck closed on its own before applying glue, then. That's not stuff you want lodged in a wound. May infection not happen.

I can attest to that. Superglue in deep cuts burns, and it burns for a good long while.

Broken hand, kidney stones, an odd rash which I am ninety percent sure is a fungal infection from my dog (Risks: Dogs with balding patches. Symptoms: Non-itchy, raised red ring. Bingo.) a rather nasty gash on my finger, developing arthritis, poor eyesight (On the order of 40-20, IIRC), drug addiction, poor diet, and an extreme aversion to brussel sprouts. :P

Fun fact, whenever that hand gets cold now(around when it starts to go numb), you'll feel the cut again. Don't ask me why, but it just does. Only does it on major cuts and stiches though.

I just spent two hours trying to ARG the hell out of something... by myself.

So, there's these image files.

I figure something in one of those images--probably the last--is going to point me to a link on c0da.es somehow. MK's been hinting... and by hinting I mean outright stating "now find the other prelude, Landfall: Day One!" and replying with "Maybe he's looking for the other prelude to C0DA" when the guy who runs the site replied to me making mention of the 404 error.

Anyway, what I got out of that is this:

tEXtError <memospore corrupt>

That's it. I changed the files to .txt and the latter two had that near the start. Note that EXE is capitalized; I've tried running it in Windows (not compatible with current version of windows) and DOSBox (it just hangs/crashes), so that's a dead-end.

I was planning on going to bed two hours ago >_<

The "tEXt" is just the PNG chunk type indicator, it indicates that the following data is in a text block. The actual text is just "Error\0<memospore corrupt>".
Edit: I have no idea what c0da.es is, but it seems to be chock-full of random hidden shit.

Trying to buy myself a new tablet. Going trough the Wacom store and I'ts equal parts wtf and rage. I've checked out the price several times before and I could afford it. Now, either GBP has gone up in value or the price itself has increased but I can't afford to buy it trough the UK shop anymore (or any European shop for that matter) because the way I shop online is trough single use debit cards (basically you buy a card of certain value, lasts for a while, no paperwork or anything required, quick and easy way). And the highest one has 500 HRK on it. The tablet itself costs 540-ish HRK.

Now I could try and go trough the US shop, which is 100 HRK cheaper, but there's no indication on wheter they ship to Europe, or anything about taxation.

Fucking price differences for the same piece of tech, ffs.

Edit:
Nope, can't buy it from the US. Those cheap motherfuckers.
