Fucking UPS.
Waited all day for my new monitor arrive. Of course, we're the last delivery of the day. By 7pm I'm like WTF. The package went out at 5:30 AM. Check the tracking, says it was delivered 45 minutes ago to my porch.
Bullshit.
I call the UPS store. He checks the same F***ing webpage I do to tell me what I already know, it says it was delivered. No shit.
He gives me the 1800 UPS Number. It's an automated, voice-activated system that doesn't let you talk to a rep. Fun fact, if you get loud, the interpreter can't understand you. Which just makes you madder.
Frustrated, I check all the neighbor's houses just to make sure. No package. It's also about 28 degrees outside and the wind is like knives.
I call back to the local store to start the lost/stolen process. The store is closed (because UPS always delivers my packages at the end of their fucking day, always. If you bastards would have delivered it even one hour earlier, the driver could have been called. But no.)
I call another store here in town and get a human. She says "Oh we're not actually the package facility. Call the 1-800 number."
I tell her I have and I want to speak to a person and she says, literally "I haven't tried it in a while, but I hear if you hit 0, 0, then 3 you'll get to a rep."
Nowhere is this mentioned on their call system. It's like some arcane fucking cheat code. Although I owe her thanks for being there to tell me it.
After 10 minutes on hold, I get another person who treats me like I literally haven't walked out my front door to look for the fucking thing. Then he tells me "Well, you need to contact Newegg, so they can contact us, so we can start the investigation."
Jesus fucking christ on a flaming pogo stick, can UPS be any less fucking helpful in managing their own fuckups?
I really hope someone wakes up tomorrow and does the right thing. But I have a feeling I'll be waiting for 2 to 3 weeks until I see that monitor.
