just keep trying and you'll get better eventually.
Comments like this always make me as-close-to-angry-as-I-get.
When people who are good at things assume that anyone can be good at a thing.
Most people CAN be good at most things (not at the same time obviously), and this is specifically talking about a thing most people can explicitly be good at.

Mind you, practice along isn't usually enough - it needs to be studious practice. Practicing poorly won't get you anywhere, and the whole "teacher" thing is pretty much explicitly about enabling studious practice, after all.
Spot on, GG. If you seek out the proper tools(lessons, online guides, books, or hey, even an already skilled friend), it is entirely possible(well, save for situations where it's literally impossible(person lacking both their arms wanting to draw(then again, with a little creativity...))) to gain some skill in whatever thing you want to do.

Usually if you do not have arms, you're going to use your feet for things. Well trained feet can grasp a real lot of stuff. Including brushes and pencils, I guess.

There is no excuse other than the ones you make up, and I make up one hell of a lot of excuses. Which doesn't stop me from telling people their excuses are bullshit so they take the high road and leave more room on the low road for me.

Everything I do well I did through hard work and the correct attitude.

Everything I don't do well just wasn't worth my time.

Everyone else who doesn't do stuff well just wasn't trying hard enough.

Everything in this post except this line was a sarcastic lie.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.
