Anyway, this is incredibly pedantic, incredibly late, and incredibly nerdy, but I was working out what the sizes of pieces of currency would be for this game. You know, for plausibility's sake, as I was under the impression that due to going with what sounded about right, D&D's standard coins were cartoonishly large, and I felt like taking care of a trivial avenue of mockery.

Turns out, GP are about the size of a quarter, and Frank and K are just full of shit. Or at least they were years and years ago when 3.5 was still the current edition, because I know that when I read that the first time that was still the case. I spent about an hour trying to figure out why my numbers were producing coins that were insanely small, and it turns out it was because I'd assigned too many coins to the pound (since all my research about the actual value of precious metals in ages past used the Imperial system; now to convert to metric!).
