Relative mass and density matter. A thicker shell is less likely to buckle than a thinner one under the same stress. Now, if both tanks were heavier and had thicker armor...

But the armour buckling isn't all that important for damage taken directly from the collision, since it's the shock damaging internal components rather than damage to the armour that matters. Damaging the armour might allow shells to do more damage though.

Plus, that's why shock-absorbers exist.

To absorb shocks.

Pretty much this. Physics in the game don't quite work that way. IRL, yes, it might not make as big a difference because people inside would get broken necks and shit. But in the game, you're basically driving a drone as far as toughness of crew is concerned. They can die to shellfire, but a ramming attack is probably not going to ever injure them.

Really, what I was getting as is that basically he was complaining that cars don't just go right through concrete walls because they have more force. It doesn't work that way. You have to consider the toughness of the object being rammed in addition to the force of the ramming object.

But...that stuff's delicious D:
But my brother always contaminates the largest samples of popcorn with it - and I don't rally prefer it - eats two kernels, then leaves the rest to go stale! No one else eats it.

Well, that's just being an ass. But I do so love white cheddar popcorn. Makes a great road snack.

Well, then have Xantalos give you the rest of it. Problem solved.

Not like you guys are like, tons of miles apart, or anything.
