Google somehow already knows my real name (I probably gave it to them when I signed up for Gmail), but I'm always very careful to click the "Go fuck yourself" button whenever the popup occurs. I imagine it's only a matter of time before they force the change. I'll then have to delete everything and make an account on Yahoo or something.

... it can be fairly dangerous, in some places, for some people, to have their opinions (somewhat) easily connectible to their actual person. Gods only know I'd have been at a fair amount more risk for injury when I was younger if the people I were around were aware I wasn't a raging bigot. Being able to, y'know, communicate while having that possibility lessened, if not outright mitigated, is... pretty nice.

It's also good to be able to speak fairly freely without as much risk that it comes back and bites you in the ass at some point in the future. Especially nowadays and going forward, where you've got crap like employers hunting down social media profiles and whatnot.

S'quite freeing, really.

When I walked into my room last night, I was really tired, stressed out from having to deal with idiots all day, and wanted nothing more than to just lie down. But did I get to do that? lolnope. There was water or something splashed all over the bed. And there was a lot of it. I had to spend another half hour changing the pillow, sheets and blanket.
