Also, the tetanus shot hurting afterwards is normal, if they didn't tell you that. It consists of inactivated tetanus toxin, and as such usually has a small effect on the muscle it is injected into. I remember when I got mine that I could make the part of the muscle that was apparently immobilized make a noise akin to popping a joint if I moved it enough.

What really pisses me off is AAA developers who think everybody is just fucking loaded. Like every consumer of their product has loads of free time and money (protip: most people either have on or the other), as well as a house in a nice area with a stable connection to the internet.

A perfect example is the PR official for EA games, who, when he was questioned on how Simcity online's policy on always-connected gaming affected people living in rural areas, simply suggested that it wasn't his problem, and that maybe they should move to an area with better internet. UGGGGH EA GAMES
I thought that was the guy who worked for Microsoft before they released the Xbone.

I have a sneaking suspicion that most AAA developers have said this at some point

If people would actually follow through on a boycott for once, a very real and serious message could be sent. Refusing to buy their shit products and services is the best and most reliable way to keep them in line. This "refusal to buy" also has to be genuine (if you have to force people to boycott, it's going to be self-defeating). It's not like you can't live without it.

I already stopped buying EA. It wasn't even a real boycott at first, their games are just shit now.

More so than that. A large part of homosexuality is genetics, but society repressed that part until now. But, now, we may see "fake gays" or something of the sort. It was mentioned before that women like gays a bit more, and there's all the support... I could see such a thing. Fake gays/"converted" gays. That could be a problem. Then again, it all depends on how society treats it.

You're scared that men will pretend to be gay in order to get women, which will spark a population decrease.

Beg pardon?

As someone who has  "pretended to be gay" to get women, I still don't understand it.

most guys don't even have to try to be thought of as gay, their female acquaintances just assume they are.

I've ran into that problem once or twice, but always with friends, not paramours.

This is what you should be paying attention to.

Newegg doesn't ship to the UK?  I find that almost impossible to believe... and makes me wonder what company people from the UK normally use for computer parts.

TIL Hotel California is not about the sex-drugs-and-rock-n-roll lifestyle, but instead about being fabulous.

Tiger Direct, maybe?

I'm pretty sure it would require over 50% of men be both gay and unwilling to donate sperm for it to be even remotely an issue for population. The Earth is almost overpopulated at this point, anyway.

For recovery questions I always do "first pet" and just type in the name of my current pet. I am sure that will not come back to haunt me in five years.

~10% of humanity may have always been homosexual, just they were breeding before. Now they have an actual shot at having legitimate non-heterosexual relationships.

And no, I have no problem with homosexuality. Doubts, certainly, but not outright hate. Also, " Right wingers".
...

Really?
Holy shit! 10%? That is... Worrying. Not for any idealistic senses, but population. That's 10% not having babies. We have a strong potential to be actually losing population at this point.

Look here is the thing, nobody ever thinks they have a problem with gays. Well most people who show they dislike homosexuality honestly think they are fine with it... And then they just kind of aren't. The right wing "God hates fags" groups are just a small, but highly visible tip of a very large iceberg that extends to people thinking homosexuality should be discouraged from public eye because they don't want exposure to it, people getting upset when it is implied that they or people they admire are gay, and people thinking homosexuality poses some kind of risk to society. These things are a lot more subtle, but still a problem.

About ten percent of the population is left handed. That is pretty uncommon, right? But nobody gets upset when you say spiderman is left handed. Nobody uses left handedness as an insult. You can't use the fact that homosexuals are a minority as a justification.
