I've always felt that that's the Hollywood view of what a modern audience wants. Explosions, yes, but not every film has to be a James Bond film to please the masses.

If it were made for the modern audience it would probably have MASSIVE explosions, lots of half naked women who know every martial art that exists and a cliche'd end scene where the hero is just about to get killed but the hero's buddy (Who you thought was dead) shoots the villian who is trying to kill the hero.

Now we know why it isn't made to suit a modern audience.
It can also be the villain's buddy!  The one who was betrayed by the villain and who, in an awesomely original twist, comes back to take revenge!

The modern Audience.

BACK THEN!

Christianity Never would have disappeared if they had dragons in the bible.
I mean, who would have cared about the puritan era?

Well...
Quote from: There Are Actually A Few Dragons in The Bible
In that day the LORD with his sore and great and strong sword shall punish leviathan the piercing serpent, even leviathan that crooked serpent; and he shall slay the dragon that [is] in the sea.-Isaiah 27:1

Awake, awake, put on strength, O arm of the LORD; awake, as in the ancient days, in the generations of old. [Art] thou not it that hath cut Rahab, [and] wounded the dragon- Isahiah 51:9

And there appeared another wonder in heaven; and behold a great red dragon, having seven heads and ten horns, and seven crowns upon his heads. And his tail drew the third part of the stars of heaven, and did cast them to the earth: and the dragon stood before the woman which was ready to be delivered, for to devour her child as soon as it was born.- Revelation 12:3-4

And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels, -Revelation 12:7

And the dragon was wroth with the woman, and went to make war with the remnant of her seed, which keep the commandments of God, and have the testimony of Jesus Christ. Revelation 12:17

And they worshipped the dragon which gave power unto the beast: and they worshipped the beast, saying, Who [is] like unto the beast? who is able to make war with him?- Revelation 13:4

And I beheld another beast coming up out of the earth; and he had two horns like a lamb, and he spake as a dragon.- Revelation 13:4
