You'd think that a reasonably nice hotel that has more-or-less permanent deals with a major trucking company would provide decent Internet service. But nooooooooo.

That remind me, I hate it when I say the axis of the forth dimension is at right angles tothe other three axises and everyone's like, "No, the forth dimension is tiiiime~~" >_>
I meant the forth physical dimension D:(

I wonder, were you programming with arrays, by any chance?

At the risk of sounding (even more) like an idiot, what is the fourth dimension if not time? The three dimensions of space I know of are length, width, and (closest word I can think of at the moment) depth. If there's a fourth, I don't know what it is.

It's just as well you can't watch those, Sirus. They're not the videos I thought they were, and weren't as informative as I'd hoped. :C

Oh vell. I'm not some mathematical genius, so I doubt such bizarre ideas would ever be an issue for me :/
Hell, for the foreseeable future I won't have to worry about anything more complicated than division.

No, just talking. :P The topic happene to turn up!
HMM I wonder how you access a 4-dimensional array.
1d: x
2d: x + width * y
3d(iirc): (x + width*y)*z?

Depends on language || how you have structured it yourself.
If you are working in a language that natively supports nth dimensional arrays, you are going to have an easy time, otherwise x + (y * A) + (z * A * B) + (m * A * B * C) will work for 4d, where uppercase is the size of the dimension.

If you care about putting things is a form preferable to mathematicians then A(B(Cm + z) + y) + x is also good, but honestly I feel it destroys that thing called cohesion.

Bah, evolution. It's just applied - oh wait I can't tell you.
It's just applied entropy.
Something.
