Just learned that things are about to get a whole bunch worse where I work.  According to my manager 'this is the worst thing he's ever seen them do.'  Holy fuck I hope I get this other job.

Just found out that my sister pocketed fifty dollars that she had been told to deliver to me. This is not the first, nor the largest amount of money she's pocketed.

Then she wonders why I won't do favours for her, like buy alcohol for sixteen year olds.

Given what you've mentioned before, that kinda' makes me curious what they're intending to do. Demand your first born as collateral for the privilege of working for them?

Shit, is overt law breaking what's considered on the level of "favour" these days? I'll have to remember that when I have the opportunity to call some in. Well. Providing that'd be illegal in your area, anyway.

I'm fairly certain my brother used to steal money from me. Although i don't think I've ever had 50$. Eleven year old me was not stupid and knew what was happening when 10-20$ went missing from my dresser, in my room, in a house of: me, my dad, my mom, and my brother.

Entertainment industry cracking down on websites that are providing their own interpretations of dialogues. (Swedish)
http://www.svt.se/nyheter/sverige/filmsajt-stangd-efter-polisrazzia (News article in Swedish)

This morning, we've had a police raid and both servers and computers have been confiscated hence why the webpage is down. We who work with the webpage don't believe one's own interpretation of dialogue is illegal. Especially when one shares one's own interpretation gratis, the webpage says.

Clearly I'm now a pirate for freely interpreting and translating this dialogue from the news article. Horrible implications indeed.

I've watched the TPB AFK movie yesterday, and yeah, some quite fishy stuff happened there. Had no idea it went to comic book villanny levels in the meantime :S

Anyways, rage of the day is myself for wasting half the day (the entire morning, when I'm most eager to study and most productive) hanging out with a friend who doesn't give two shits about studying it seems. And now, since it's hot and I'm somewhat tired from walking in the head I'm having trouble starting up the studying process, more rage wheeeee.

They're fucking with our health insurance benefits again.

A couple years ago, they eliminated the Employee+Spouse option and raised the cost a ridiculous amount on the Employee+Family option.  Made a lot of people really furious.

My manager isn't allowed to say yet what they're doing this time, but he says it's about 100x worse... and that it will basically be like not having insurance at all.  Will be getting details Thursday night.  Hopefully that same day I will be informed as to whether or not I'm getting this other job, so I can have a sense of humor about it.

My economics course that I'm taking.  Here are a few examples of why I hate this class-
"According to this production possibilities curve, if the government spends more towards the $100 mark for military spending, what must happen?"
*graph that has an x axis labeled education, y axis labeled military spending, and a perfectly linear line.  Ends of both axis are labeled $100*
A.  There will be less money avaliable for spending on education
B. Because the government has to deal with scarcity, decisions must be made about where to spend its limited funds.
C. As the government spends more money on education, less money will be available for military spending.
D. Each of these is correct.

So what answer do you want?  According to the question THAT WAS BEING ASKED, I am supposed to put down A.  According to my grade which shows that I got the question wrong, they want D.  Which, while correct, is not the answer to the question.

And earlier, during another quiz, I had to ADD AND SUBTRACT NUMBERS.  Why the hell am I adding and subtracting numbers in a course meant for people in the 12th grade?  Are today's kids really so stupid that they must know that if you spend $20 and you had $100 that you'll end up with $80?

Well, I think both the problem and your thoughts are right.
The problem wanted to ask Which of the following statements are true? and the answer being I, II, and III.
But it actually asked what would happen, in which case A is the answer.
Try asking your teacher if s/he can make A a correct answer too. O_o

Work continues to be a beautiful disaster. The new desk is utterly lost and incapable of handling the load (not meant as a slight to them....they were given minimal training and thrown to the wolves), and they keep taking more and more access away from the handful of legacy folks still around even as they ask us to do more and more of the work. We used to never have more than 100-150 open issue tickets at a given time. If we went above that, some of us would pull OT to get the load down. We're now at 1200+ and growing daily. And the other technical teams are coming to despise the new desk because of the garbage requests they're getting.

No, I'm not interested in a free ge system wireless home security system. Also, you bastard whorespawns can go violate your orifices with a glass studded cactus. Scum telemarketing arseholes just woke me up from the beginning of a nested dream! Dream with dreaming as a subplot! I don't get those often (that I can remember) and they are rare and precious and these unmitigated jackasses just did a cancel on it.

May their operating facilities go up in flames while they're all somewhere else! To capital investment hell with their long term assets!

... now. Back to my nap.

TL;DR: I hate programming using libraries that are cryptic and are poorly or undocumented.
