A long summer was a sign of a longer winter, was it not?

Dear Android 2.3.5 browser: I hate you very much.

Seriously, I can't believe how bad this browser is considering how not that old it is.  I also really, really wish our client didn't want compatibility with this thing...

I don't need a food handler's permit in South Carolina, though I did in Utah.

I think it's a state by state thing.
NY and Michigan require ServSafe training for managers only.
NY here, and I'm pretty sure as hell I don't need one. They just showed me the dishwashing machine and said "here you go". Hell, I doubt even the manager has certification.

As for the burger, it was a pre-packaged burger, not made from ground beef patted into one. Not sure if that really makes a difference.

I hate my sex/crush/emotional attraction drive.

Hate hate hate it. Damn thing wants five or six women at once, a couple of whom I'll never see again. This, despite the fact that I'm really quite monogamous and clingy by nature. It would be nice to be able to switch it off at will, especially when I'm abroad with two months to go...

It's a good thing it's so damn fun, else I'd probably have castrated myself by now.

@Footjob, you can microwave most grains I've tried pretty easily through the microwave, even if they aren't packaged for it.

I usually try not to talk about this sort of thing, but I've sort of been in this mindset myself today. It's been a pretty warm, sunny day, and the women around here have been pulling out the summer dresses... It's been bringing up feelings of frustration...

I haven't had to deal with this kind of stuff in a long time.

I feel like my main gripe with being bisexual is that I am not anywhere near my own type.

Honestly I found it weird that I AM my own type when it comes to men.

I was mulling it over last summer when I accepted my sexuality, and was slightly bemused that the things I found attractive in men also described me.

Maybe I'm narcissistic.

They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Yeah.  I'm really into the lovely, femmey, wispy girls, and I'm kind of the opposite.  Well, that's definitely not my only type, but that's the main one.

Kai: I might have that- well, I'm straight, but nothing, nothing, NOTHING makes my knees tremble more than a girl who's got attachment issues and a good dose of cuddly depression. You're not happy unless you're miserable...

If it's a burger, then it's almost certainly ground. Regardless of source. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I haven't cooked any yet.
