This is the important part for me.  I think it's an incredibly significant difference.  The majority of people I know who aren't gamers are potatos.  They go to work/school and then spend the rest of their time vegetating in front of a tv.  I think there's a core element of humanity that atrophies from being so passive.

My Skype has now an UNBLOCKABLE UNIGNORABLE spammer.

It doesn't matter what my settings are this spammer can spam me and I cannot block or ignore them.

I even asked Skype and they don't know what to do about it.

Unblockable: As in you cannot block them
Spammer: As in this sends you spam

Hey don't get me wrong. Use Skype all you want, if it hasn't had any problems with you then it hasn't had any problems with you.

There are tons of Skype alternatives, Google has them all (and Google itself provides a Skype alternative too, via Voice feature and Google Talk), they have just one problem - everybody's already using Skype.
Here in post-soviet region Skype has managed to become really popular, too, which is something that MSN and Yahoo messengers never did. It's been all ICQ here, since around 1997 and until everybody started using social networks for chatting, Facebook and Vk.com (it's like Russian Facebook), and then Skype. Personally, I miss ICQ, it used to be so simple and straightforward.
