Say Bay12, what was a web browser that could restore tabs after they were closed?

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA-no.
The full extent of my rage is excluded from this post. To put it succintly, let me just say that I had about 20 tabs open, mostly stories and such that I was reading online. I will likely never find them again. They were all just closed when I lent my computer to someone so they could watch a movie on it.
...
EDIT: Additionally, my Youtube account that I've forgotten the passowrd for and thus can't get back into has been signed out of.

Modern versions can do it.

Or you can use history.

Why don't you just pull up your history? It should have those tabs.

It's known as the Oppai-Kaiju effect. The islands of Japan generate a sort anti-gravity field, which allows breasts to behave as if in microgravity. It's also what allows Godzilla and friends to become 50 stories tall, and lets ninjas run up the side of a skyscraper.

Re: Boston bombings. Younger brother captured, but might not live to trial. Dammit. If he dies, we lose that first-person unreliable narrator that everyone wants right now. We'll hafta come up with a new story angle just to keep things interesting. It'll also probably lock in solid that "good kid led astray" theme, barring major plot twists later.

What's that, Sichuan? You had an earthquake the other day that killed 160 and wounded thousands? Alright, but where's your story?
(Other things that happened recently: CISPA passed in the House three days ago; Syrian army killed 80 people in a town near Damascus; a 5-year-old girl in India was abducted, raped and tortured last week. Those are, in order: old news, old war news, old foreign news. No good stories there.)

I need to stop reading the news. Or burn the world.

IE9 doesn't. Not sure what version of IE the local library uses, but it does.

That's why I don't watch the news. And I would say that's the better solution.  My family considers me extremely irresponsible because I don't keep up on current events.  They were surprised I didn't know that there were 2 bombers the other day.

I responded with that I have little interest in things that do not directly effect me or anyone close to me, or that I cannot meaningfully change for the better myself.  As cold as that sounds, why spend an inordinate amount of time worrying about anything else?  Really the only reason I have even a passive interest in the events in boston is because this is probably either going to be blamed on videogames, or keep us from being allowed to buy deodorant without a 10 day waiting period.

Next time they give me a hard time about it I'll be sure to mention that earthquake though.  They are not the type to pay any attention to any international news.
