Got about 9 hours of code done for the MMO project, including code to easily equip/unequip any sort of ship components, got a start into the shooting lasers and such, and got a bunch of stuff rearranged in the engine. Then, at 3AM, all the machines in the lab which were off turn on, as they are set to do at 3AM. Except that it wasn't just turning on, as usual, but was instead a new image being pushed out to all the machines by the fucking IT guys who decided to do so without any warning to anyone. My machine shuts down before I can save anything from the local drive, and begins re-imaging with the rest, and I assume wiped the drive my work was on, as they usually do when they reimage. Yeah, those 2 IT guys in charge of maintaining the lab machines can go fuck themselves with a cactus slathered with tabasco sauce right about now.
