Half the computers in the house decide to shut off in the middle of my modding work. I had achieved a lot of progress and hadn't saved in a while. Guess which category my computer was in? I've been reverted to "still working on the Kestvoshorik entity".

Eh, IIRC he only wanted a ban on soda's of a certain size, and to be honest I think it would be a decent move towards better health... (this is from someone who loves Coke / Pepsi but resists the urge to drink it very often. Except now because you've got me thinking about it. GODDAMN)
Y'know... thinking on it, that almost sounds more like a corporate kickback of some sort instead of anything health related. Larger sodas tend to cost less per ounce pretty much everywhere, so banning them would actually be a pretty good way to increase profit for the soda companies on the sly. "Health" makes a pretty good smokescreen for "buy the more expensive (but functionally identical) product", really.

U know, i've thought for a while that just adding soluable fiber to soft drinks would make them much healthier, without affecting taste much, if at all. And one the average, Americans apparently have about a 50% fiber deficiency in their diets, which soda+added fiber would specifically target. A quick google reveals, that this is actually a thing:

http://www.imtakingcharge.ca/is-there-such-a-thing-as-a-healthy-soft-drink/

Although i was thinking that pectin would be a good addition, instead of what's in that "weight loss soda" in the article.

Math. My fucking math homework is driving me fucking insane. It's not because it's hard, but the sheer tedium of it. I have like nine fucking questions about pythagoreans theorum. Not that bad, but you have to show your work and that means drawing out the fucking A2 + B2 = C2. I know it's not really something to be raging at, but ffs IT'S SO GODDAM SLOW!

Situations like that are the only times I'll cheat.  I know it, I'm not learning anything from it, and there are much better things I could be doing.

People who ordered Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate online are beginning to get their copies now. Two days earlier than I'll get mine. This is unfair.

Problem is that repeating those over and over teaches you to do them by rote and fast, and it's useful when instead of having to do 9 you have to do 90, and have one hour and a half.

I can do them rather easily.  I have the first few ratio thingies memorized.
Now that I'm at higher math levels I haven't had to cheat in a year or two, since we actually do thigns that aren't nearly as repetitive.

And really, when are you going to need to do ninety pythagorean theorums in an hour and a half. Really.

Fuck math schoolwork. Math is awesome, but that's just tedious. Why do they have to make you do nine questions on something so goddamn easy???

That gives you a FULL minute to do each one! Who needs that much time?

I remember that our 8th grade Algebra 1 teacher would give us a test or a quiz on the Pythagorean theorem, even thou we begged her to do it.
