I just realised that a LOT of Metallica songs have riffs completely the same as other, not as heard of songs.

Perhaps pin a towel to the wall in the appropriate fashion? Might not work, depends on how much you care about the wall, too.

In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

I don't know where to post this since I'm angry with Customer Support, as well as myself, I'm happy that I've finally gotten it over with, and I'm sad it almost didn't work. But seeing that I'm mostly pissed off, here would be good.

I'd forgotten my account info for my Perfect World account. I try three dozen password combinations. Nothing. I try filling in my security question to change my password. Forgotten that one too.
I mail Customer Support. I get my first answer from something arguably sentient five days later, telling me to send another mail to which they can reply another five days later.

Then I end up staying awake for half the night for unrelated reasons, get shitty sleep, and when I wake up I remember the goddamn security answer. Password change, GO!

Now I can play again; so, Wohooo!, I guess.

But I'm still angry.

http://blog.alexanderhiggins.com/2011/04/01/breaking-radiation-san-francisco-18100-drinking-water-limits-13014/

This is just bullshit, what makes me even more rage worthy is the fact that there are people in the comments section telling this asshole he's right. But thank God there are sane voices there too.

I wouldn't be searching for this blog in the first place except for the fool in this thread (read: rgodfrey) that parrots any and all conspiracy theories he gets his hands on even if they ultimately end up contradicting his own views. He is egregious to the extreme, the only solution at this point is to bury them under the weight of accurate data since there doesn't seem to be any sort of silver bullet to these beasts.
