There's no point beating around the bush, MZ, every service/public interaction/low-paying job is meant to be filled by soulless automatons with no interests outside of work. The only variation is in regards to whether they openly admit it.

One day soon, my job selling computers will be replaced with this thing, that you can go to from the comfort of your own home, and do all the research in one place. You'll be able to buy then and there, and then have the computer shipped to your house without ever leaving your living room!

...Oh, wait. :P

With the right modifications it will.

Mind you, it won't produce them so you might have to hook up an orphan siphon or something, but we've already got comp towers that spew decorative smoke and stuff, so blood and tears isn't exactly a stretch. I imagine the money saved from not getting overcharged by a brick and mortar joint will cover the cost of installation :P

I think there is somebody else out there with the same or similar name to mine who has a bad credit rating.
I just got an email from an internet provider saying that I failed a credit rating check because of an over drawn account. I don't even fucking have a credit account! I use debit, always, for everything! I have never been in debt my entire life, with the exception of my hex fees that have no interest and never need to be paid off unless I earn over a certain amount, thus never get counted towards these things.

Going to have to go through so much bullshit to get this sorted, I an just tell.

run a credit check on yourself and find the agency thats flagging you, send in a dispute to the agency to have them drop it. they probably will require you to call that bank to verify that you had no business with them. Its a long process but they aren't total twats about the whole process.

You can... You can do that? Interesting...
Well it might be another month or so before I get this internet bullshit sorted, but at least it will be painful and full of paperwork until then!

yea my dad found some tax lien on my mother's credit after 15 years since they paid it. Called them up to dispute it, took maybe 2-3 weeks and then they removed it.

On my way home from the grocery store, my groceries shifted, and upon opening the rear of my new truck, 2 bottles of mikes hard lemonade went crashing to the ground and broke.

Oh the humanity.

So my computer started overheating when playing League of Legends or Guild Wars 2 a while back. I mounted it on top of some altoids tins so its bottom isn't touching anything, and that's pretty much worked perfectly since then.

Until just now. It just overheated despite my precautions. Getting a new computer just jumped up a couple places on my list of priorities.

Did you clean the dust out, try add more cooling near it, etc?

De-dusting it would probably help, but I can't really get to most of it. The majority of the bottom is non-removable.

Fan pads can help a lot. And once, many many years ago I bought a standup fan specifically to point at my laptop when a fan pad wouldn't even work.

I would try to get what dust I could from the fan and the vents for the CPU at least. Those are the most important places anyway.

My desktop case used to overheat until I blew out the 8 years of dust built up. Runs like new again. (Well, almost.)
