Goddamn idiotic people. So apparently steam is taking out the single piece of non-plaintext fucntionality it had from chat because apparently, steam has scams and also idiots. Totally a surprise worthy of less formatting.

Oh, wow, that was today? I saw an unusual amount of vitriol on Al Farnsworth's comments for that. I think it's being overblown immensely.

Like I said earlier, normally it wouldn't be terrible. (and if you prefer skype or irc over steamchat, it isn't really either) But when there was only one command or function in the whole chat program that actually did anything, removing it is kinda a major thing.

What functionality?

/me.
I'm pretty sure html and bbcode don't work in the steamchat, so the only thing that shows up different is links if you remove that.

I procrastinated on my homework all week, then thought I could get at least a few things done before class.  Nope.  Had to texture a model, and no kidding, when you try to texture the window, the entire window ends up appearing where the brick should be.  So I had to change the actual modeling... file... yeah nobody probably knows what I'm talking about.

In other words, procrastination is bad.

People are idiots and believe scammers who use the bluetext (or greentext if ingame) from using /me to say they're a valve/steam employee. As far as I can tell thats the only reason.

Was having hot dogs and french fries for dinner today.  Open up fridge to get ketchup and mustard, ketchup and mustard not there.  HOW DO YOU EAT FRENCH FRIES AND HOT DOG WITHOUT KETCHUP AND MUSTARD?!
The One True Belgian Way to eat The Holy Fries is with Blessed Mayonaise.

So my brother just went to the cops about the credit card fraud he's accusing me of doing.

I didn't do it, and know I didn't do it. Strap me into a lie detector and we'll see what's what.

My only worry is that I won't be able to get my security license and a job through that if I get charged with anything. That'd be at least 300 dollars down the drain that I can't afford to have wasted.

For obvious reasons, I'm trembling like hell from anger at him.

Edit: And of course, he comes home empty-handed. Or rather, without the two cops in tow he said he would bring.

I don't even know why he's continuing this charade.

My body is aching from sleeping on this ridiculously hard bed. It was like sleeping on concrete with a thick blanket over it.

... concrete isn't that bad. So long as it's flat. An actual blanket over it, like. Helps. You can bunch it up appropriately to support you as you please. Two blankets would be better.

What I'm saying is you need more blankets and more pillows, and then you can macgyver yourself comfort. I've been sleeping on shitty spring twins or the floor all my life. You learn to compensate. Given sufficient bedding mattresses become largely irrelevant.
