So... AIT was supposed to be shown to the USAF last Wednesday. Surprise, shits broke. Guess who gets given an nigh impossible task with an nigh impossible deadline and i have not even looked at the code-base or requirements for that application? You got it, me. So the girl who was in a car accident didn't break her arm. She almost got fired because of an irate customer, though ...

And now she's told us that she's pregnant. Not raging because of that, but rather from the fact that it caused me to reflect on my experience with it. My older sister, pregnant at 17. My younger sister, just turned 19 and pretty far along. My brother has 2 children from one woman, and I think I heard an *unconfirmed* rumor that he's got another one from another woman. And me? Can't get laid to save my life. What the fuck?

Though if you're just lonely, well, it's one of those things that happen easier if you don't try for it. Go on dates, have fun, and if the opportunity presets itself, there ya go. Just use a condom.

... but it was road work. Or one of the machines for it, anyway. I've heard that particular machine before, even though I couldn't find my glasses fast enough to get a look at the thing and remind me of what it was.

Still kinda' supportive of a 8 pm - 4 am work schedule for road work (fuck heat ♫), but they'd have to do a little retooling to reduce the noise and light output. Or people would be shooting (at) them.

I can never have a good day, can I?
Freaking hell. Yesterday I went out and caught a bus for the first time in ages, picked up the CD I'd been wanting for a while, got some chips and came home. Listened to it for a while, came out and played some videogames, fed the pets, everything's pleasant and nice for once.
And then BAM, suddenly abuse being thrown at me by my stupid mother, completely unprovoked. I try and try and try to stay calm, to tell her to calm down and stop talking, but NO. NO FUCKING WAY. She never knows how to shut up so I end up smashing stuff and locking myself in my bedroom. For fuck's sake. Every. Single. Day.

Ouch I do have some experience knowing what that is like, though it looks like the scars on my arm from those days have mostly faded. Can hardly see where the fingernails dug in.


Anyway, is it something you can talk about to let off some steam? Or is the dispute kinda personal?

Younger sister had some friends over today. Still here, actually. Not only did the three of them eat enough food for eight meals, they spent the entire day blasting that "gaijin style" song on the stereo and are now inventing Scooby Doo-themed rap songs and singing them. Out loud. In the next room over. KILL ME NOW.

Except I hate that song, never liked Scooby Doo, and they collectively have the vocal talent of a deaf infant. And they're even louder than said deaf infant >.<
