Bacon is the stuff you add to crap to make it great.

Got a chicken breast and some swiss cheese? Add bacon! Now you have to use french, cause english isn't fancy enough.

I like how turkey bacon doesn't have the chance of biting down on a bunch of fat, but pork bacon just tastes better (don't get me wrong: turkey bacon is still delicious). Screw whichever may be healthier. If you are looking for healthy bacon, you are doing it wrong.

Ducks and especially rabbits aren't eaten as commonly.
Fish is too generic, and is often treated as such (despite different kinds of fish tasting quite different).
Organs, while tasty to some, tend to look strange or taste bad to those accustomed to eating muscle tissue. Also, fewer health risks related to eating muscle tissue. Also also, sausage.

I do agree that perfectly made pork bacon tastes quite a bit better, but turkey bacon tends to be consistently good (rather than amazing 10% of the time and poorly made 90% of the time).

if you cook bacon properly, so the fat turns crispy, without causing the meat to taste burnt/be dry as hell (something my mum was able to do. she lost the knack ), bacon is one of the best meats.
