I am certainly no animal rights activist, but that's cruel. I'd wish the cat clawed the hell out of it's owner for that, but it would probably be put down for it.

Yep. No justice in this world for the poor and downtrodden of cat kind.

For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

Yep, a child beats a dog over the head with a big stick every day. When the dog finally bites the child, the dog's taken out and "destroyed", because they aren't even willing to use the world "killed" or perhaps "Murdered in cold blood for reacting instinctively to percieved danger"

I couldn't stand watching tom and jerry as a kid, it was 100% cat abuse.

Yeah, I dunno. The world just doesn't make sense.

On the one hand, I've had to give a cat a bath a few times before, and it depended upon the cat, but the common solution they all arrived at was "murder." Now there are exceptions, but meh. If your cat gets into something they shouldn't lick off themselves, then the whole "bath" thing becomes a necessary evil. If say, some asshole decided to shoot at cats with paintballs, or the cat somehow got motor oil on its fur, then yeah, totally giving the cat a bath, because it's necessary for the cat's health seeing as they can't lick paint or oil and live.

The notion that the furball enjoyed it.... I'm guessing no.

Cartoon violence is different than real cat violence. The real cat is not dry 30 seconds later when the screen switches, or seemingly immune to permanent trauma.

Sponge or wet cloth... something like that. I've found most of the cats I've had to do something like that to doesn't really mind it so long as it's localized and not actually involving immersion. Actual bath, faucet stream, or shower spray is a good way to gain some new holes in your arms. Not looking at video, though :P

To be honest, I'm not even sure if that was meant for cats.

No hot water, because our water heater is being repaired today. That was not a fun shower.

Why does it seem like lately anyone in the Obama Administration who deals with international trade acts like they're part of a separate, non-American government?

I was told to do laundry this morning. I really needed to do laundry this morning. Stepdad was doing his and his apparently homeless brother laundry all morning.

And as I was typing this, I large black wasp, which was apparently sitting on me ever since I left my house, just stung me in the back of the head. Doesn't hurt much, yet.

I swear to god if I hear one more person on the internet talk about Guild Wars 2 and F2P, I'm going to hunt them down and skull fuck them with a rusted screw driver. Seriously. Shut. The. Fuck. Up.

goddammit! I spend an hour downloading something, only for my internet to stop working for 5 seconds, meaning I have to reinstall it.

THERE WAS A BLOODY REASON I WANTED A WIRE FOR THE COMPUTER AND NOT ANOTHER FUCKING WIRELESS ADAPTER!
Powerline adapters, might be risky but much better than wireless
