Destructoid posted another article about Game of Dwarves, claiming it puts a spin on the Minecraft formula, without mentioning Dwarf Fortress. I mean, how fucking stupid, just how fucking stupid. Too angry for more words than that.
Here. That is all.

But now there's a whole frustrating thing where my father insists I can't plug my computer straight into the socket because he wants to plug his phone charger there
Why does he need to plug his phone charger there?

HNO3 might be an option to consider for high-intensity toothpaste.

Gargling poison is what real men do.

Quote from: Chesterton
For, in order that men should resist injustice, something more is necessary than that they should think injustice unpleasant. They must think injustice absurd; above all, they must think it startling. They must retain the violence of a virgin astonishment. When the pessimist looks at any infamy, it is to him, after all, only a repetition of the infamy of existence. But the optimist sees injustice as something discordant and unexpected, and it stings him into action.

... doesn't some (most?) mouthwash have a bit of alcohol in it? Gargling poison sounds like something many people do, not just real men :P

Real old men just rip their teeth right out of their face, making it easier to give them a proper cleaning.

got back from a super pleasant day at a friends house, only for my xbox's sensor to FUCKING BREAK on me.

No amount of repetition of the F-word can solve this problem. it's time to get nerdy.

I suggest solving the broken XBox problem the same way the guys from Office Space solve their printer problem; take it out to a field and beat the hell out of it! :D

Digging's a lot like surgery, see -- you grab the sharp thing and then drive the sharp end of the sharp thing in as hard as you can and then stuff goes flying and then stuff falls out and then there's a big hole and you're done. I kinda wish there was more screaming, but rocks don't hurt so I guess it can't be helped.

Oh my god I just watched that movie the other day. Great movie.

I actually did that with my old shitty laptop after it broke. I took it out to my driveway and beat it with a sledgehammer.

Indeed, I like when Milton BURNS THE MOTHERFUCKING OFFICE TO THE GROUND over his stapler. I fully understand and support him in doing so. I feel like Milton, I think.

Today, at my job, I did everything as perfectly as could be asked from a human being. Still not good enough. I have one of those, "If you do it perfect, no one knows, but if you mess up, you're automatically in trouble' jobs. Sometimes, when I get really angry, I wonder what people would think if they knew that quiet, mild-mannered me was so angry all the fucking time. I think they'd leave me alone. That or antagonize me further until I choke them to blissful silence.

I need a hobby that involves pointy/sharp things, breaking things, or fire. Any suggestions?

Shrapnel grenade tennis?
Logged
In the days when Sussman was a novice, Minsky once came to him as he sat hacking at the PDP-6.
“What are you doing?”, asked Minsky. “I am training a randomly wired neural net to play Tic-Tac-Toe” Sussman replied. “Why is the net wired randomly?”, asked Minsky. “I do not want it to have any preconceptions of how to play”, Sussman said.
Minsky then shut his eyes. “Why do you close your eyes?”, Sussman asked his teacher.
“So that the room will be empty.”
At that moment, Sussman was enlightened.

You could make it a thing, briefly. Of course, you'd either die by shrapnel grenade or be swiftly arrested for unlawful possession of explosives and/or property damage or something. Also murder depending on how your first game goes. Minor details, though.
