The kind of crowd these races get is usually foolhardy. So no surprise there.

Fixed. Adrenaline junkies aren't so much stupid as they are foolish about getting their fix.

Well, I got on the bandwagon for the 1 watt lasers that Wicked Lasers were selling for relatively cheap.

It's a ripoff. The first version of the laser, which they only sent to people who specifically asked for it, is an utter piece of crap; output power much lower than advertised, low quality parts, lenses that melt, serious battery problems, you name it. The second version is vaporware, and this is for people (like me) who have been waiting for it after paying two hundred dollars. I paid my money TWO MONTHS ago. Should have canceled earlier; let's hope it goes through now, because they're no longer even answering emails and their ticket system is a joke.

Oh yeah. I'm pissed.

So there's that server, yeah, with 4 total discs, making total of two RAID arrays, one RAID 0 array and second is RAID 1.
Aaand it failed. Specifically, the drives somehow died, 3 of them, one from RAID 0 and both of RAID 1. And guess what? Previous admin was a complete retarded cunt so he made the system on RAID 1(Mirrored(fail)) and all the company data(all of it) onto RAID 0. Striped. One drive died. Yeah. Fuck you previous admin.

Have an older laptop that I cannot connect to my WLAN after changing the network encryption to WPA. My main rig and my work laptop pick up the network as WPA2 and connect fine once I input the network key. The problem laptop detects the network as WPA, and connects with a 169.254.x.x IP (a failed connect). I've deleted and readded the network profile multiple times, removed and reinstalled the wireless card, etc.

This is driving me batty.

I had an aneurysm just seeing L4D2. They promised to keep releasing content for L4D for ages before plugging us for more money.

They explained full well what happened with L4D2 and apologized up and down for it.

And they've said they're still giving L4D another campaign or something.

L4D was a deep, cankerous source of rage for me, so do tell, what "happened" with L4D2?

And L4D still hasn't gotten that extra campaign they promised? Man, I'm glad I let go of that game so long ago, or I'd probably have made a L4D rage post here.

I suppose the sad thread wasn't the right place for this, so reposting.

LFD2 is 7GB?
On a connection that goes 50-60Kbs. Sometimes.
And hell, the LFD2 folder isn't even quite that big. Why does it need to reinstall Every. Fucking. Thing. just to add Russian language support?
