Make sure you have version 4.4
DFFD didnt get the updated file right away.
If you do have v4.4... well I just downloaded it to double check and there IS the .bat file
"Lazy Newb Settings v1.4.bat" right in the root directory next to the readme and stuff!

I really need to upload the DFFD file before updating the post... last few times DFFD timed out my login and I had to re-submit a bunch of times AFTER I submitted the thread change.
This time it was more just a slip though

Did you figure out a way to undo the raw changes from Ironhand's raws?  I know that phoebus and mayday are interchangable, but Ironhand was very very different (ie a game started in Ironhand really cant be changed over to Phobus/mayday, due to such drastic differnt raws, and game objects calling for them).

The only change is the Llama.  Maybe you could ask Ironhand to give you a version without the Llama in it?

HERE IS HOW YOU DO IT!

Its not perfect (Trees and vegetation have bright coloured squares around them) But it reverts 95% of the graphics perfectly!
You could use the RAW TILE SELECTOR to manually fix the vegetation issues

IRONHAND SAVE GAME CONVERTED TO PHOEBUS:


1) Install The graphics pack you want normally (Lets say Phoebus) overtop of your Ironhand game. (Copy and replace files, or using the .bat if you converted to the new version)
2) Copy the Ironhand raw/object folder and copy it OVER TOP of your games raw/object folder!
3) Use Raw Tile Merger: http://dffd.wimbli.com/file.php?id=2178
 a)For "Modified Raws" browse and select the Phoebus raw/object folder
 b)For "Unmodified Raws" browse and select your GAMES raw/object folder
 c)Press the button to update All the files!

4) RUN df_savegame_updater.bat
(Do this manually... my bat file doesn't run the updater properly apparently!)

No, there are more changes then the Llama. Theres also extra food definitions and apparently some other stuff..

Actually what he needs is a version WITH the Llama definitions and stuff,
but with all the tiles/graphics referring to another set! So that his savegame doesn't complain about missing anything....
(A version without the Llama/food would prevent OTHER people from running into this problem though)

Definitely ask Ironhand about it.
You could manually download only the tileset and graphics folder of the other pack, copy any raw files you know ARE THE SAME EXCEPT FOR TILE-SET ASSIGNMENTS,
and fix any extra tile-assignments in the raws with this:

But that would take a /while/

I would imagine that ALOT of the raw files DONT have save-breaking changes though. You really should be able to copy over just a few raws from ironhand over a phoebus/mayday install and be golden. But you were saying you were still getting tons of errors.

Which says can install graphics sets, but I don't think it could ONLY made the tile-assignment changes.... although someone could WRITE a uristmod which DOES that.

Mason's DFConfig was actually going to do something similar to that, but he never finished it....

QUICK UPDATE: V4.5
Updated bat file to v1.5. Fixed its ability to run the save game updater! (v1.4 would run the updater, but wouldn't update any saves!)

This is amazing... worked right off the bat. All the options are set. All the addons are here, thanks dude. Seriously. It just worked. DF just worked... it never works... ever. I'm playing the game right now - I busted out my desktop. I never bust out my desktop.

Everything fucking works... I didn't have to spend half a day to configure this or figure shit out, it just works.

I'm actually playing the game 20 minutes later. That's never happened in a year. I'm playing the game right now on my desktop.
