There are no mods in LNP, only the graphic set.
But yes, by all means, use your own personal version of DF!
As long as you are running 31.12 or earlier, it will work with everything in the pack!

I might just have to try it out as whole then. =D

posting here for easy access to reminders when updates come. this pack is useful for people other than newbs - only recently decided to use therapist and stonesense (added soundsense off my own back - might be worth adding it to this bundle), and this seemed the best way to get them. :)

no. he just bundled stuff together, he's not "keeping" anything besides the pack, updating the rapist and other utilities isn't in his hands. that said, i'd bet that if there's a working version of the rapist *anywhere* it'd be here too

EDIT: .7z version hosted on the drop.io mirror
EDIT 2: Holy Zip Files Batman!
Uncompressed: 52.7 MB  (100%)
.zip Compress:  23.3 MB  (44%)
.rar Compress:  19.9MB   (38%)
.7z Compress:  17.2 MB  (33%)

Exactly. I'll try to find a compatible version anywhere I can, but I wont /make/ one.

I just want to say this is simply awesome.
Sweet! Thankya!

I disagree with attempts to make DF's learning curve less steep. The last thing DF needs is to attract... casuals.

So we got monsters above, monsters below, dwarves in the middle and a party in the dining hall. Sounds good to me.
If all else fails, remember one thing:  kittens are delicious, nutritious little goblin-baiters, cavern explorers, and ambush-finders.

I rarely, if ever, troll. Maybe I overreact and exaggerate a little, but what I said wasn't an attempt at trolling. I just really think that all these attempts to make the game easier (to learn, to look at, to play) are extremely counter-productive in the long run.

Then you are extremely mistaken. And appear as elitist bastard.  As in "I just managed to break steep learning curve of this game. I am sooo good *wank wank*. Why other subhumans people have to suffer less?".
