Yeah....03....
I get the idea guys!  :P
Same deal as always. Will have to wait for a few things to update. Yes, I know Mayday and Phoebus are updated.

Therapist thread says it's up to date as well.

I've never posted on these boards.  I've only just registered today to ask you charmers to be patient, or at least polite.  It's like you're at a bar asking the swamped bar tender for another drink, only you don't get it right away, so you say, "...drink... drink."  Once you get the drink you wont even tip to be sure.

That is all.

I don't think they are trying to rush things.  It struck me more as an attempt to be humorous.  I was almost tempted to do the same thing last night as a joke because of how fast the 2nd update came.

Yeah, I'm not really planning on updating to .04... are the crashes on worldgen frequent if you don't export any images?

I've encountered this crash several times, but only when exporting images.  You probably don't need to worry about it.

Sounds from the update log like we're expecting a 34.05 soon too. You guys may have to wait, but maybe I'll do a quick .04 if I have time later.

How... how did I just now hear about this?

I didn't know the Lazy Newb Pack existed, until today. It was linked in some succession fort or other I was reading.

Thank you, good sir.

So, I stupidly copied over my .04 DF folder into the LNP pack, updated my saves with Ironhand, and now I'm getting a "Missing definition: GIANT_BIRD_EAGLE" when I tried to load my saves. Am I screwed?

You probably aren't permanently screwed, essentially you copied over old (.02) raws onto the new (.04) game when you installed old .02 graphics. I think these are some options for you (starting with the easiest options):

1) Wait for LNP to be updated to .04 or .05, transfer and update your saves with the new included versions of the graphics pack.

2) Re-download the VANILLA DF .04 over your DF folder to get its raws back to vanilla state, and then press "UPDATE SAVES" (NOT install graphics) It should work, but you wont have graphics (unless you download/install an updated graphics pack, see below)

3) Wait for Ironhand to be properly updated to .04, put the new version in the LNP/Graphics folder, and then update your saves with that.

4)If you don't want to wait, but need graphics now, download and extract the updated .04 version of Pheobus into the LNP/graphics folder, and then update your saves with that. EDIT: Pheobus isn't updated to .04 yet either. You'd have to wait for it.

5)Move your save files, delete the .04 DF folder, re-download .02 in its place, put your saves back in, update your saves, try playing. (Basically trying to revert back to .02 for now)

It shouldn't be too long to wait for a new graphics version, so I can do that.

Lucas, I think you should just wait a bit until updates slow down.
And I'm still working on that modloader thing, I just keep getting ill. :(

You know what, I just realized it would be really handy if the Lazy Newb GUI minimized to a system tray icon.

It's like you're at a bar asking the swamped bar tender for another drink,
only in the situation you describe, the bartender gets paid.

Because archery targets are not working within [0.34.02] I think it's why more people are frequently checking to see if the Lazy Newb Pack has been updated.

Yes, that's why I'm checking in. But I will patiently wait for the Lazy Newb Pack and be very, very grateful whenever I get it.
