...use exported worldgen maps as desktop wallpapers? They look pretty damn cool actually.

The island setups are especially nice looking. I'm taking some of the cooler ones and modifying them.

took that one into photoshop and made a TBS hex board out of it.

Wow, it is obvious Rowanas and Volatar have never gone in legends mode, or explored all the features anyway...

lol, you guys are scary. :D

All I did was export the region's heightmap, took it into a 3d map to render as a displacement map, lit it, and then applied some artistic license with photoshoping.

Wait, just how was this done? Is it included in .06? I just looked at .03 and I suppose you could put something like that together using the elevation and vegetation maps...

I just started doing this a couple days ago. It is interesting. So far no one has commented.

Also, how did you export the heightmap? I only find the tile map for export.

Legends mode, then press 'd' and then you just 'Export Map'
