It is because they have to pay to get in. As a result the people there are more involved and subtle in their prevarications.

Back to avatars, I like to imagine that the avatar is the one "speaking" the post. My old avatar, for instance, was an elderly Osborne Luggable computer's screen. I thought of my posts as being displayed on the monchrome blue screen as I typed them.

Incidentally, roar.

I actually have a slightly different avatar I keep meaning to switch to...  I'll have to remember to get that one.

Hum. Reading though an LP in the SA forums, okay skipping to bottom.. Wait, what was that? Scrolled up and I saw that somebody named 'The Swordsmith' has the same profile pic as me and a very close text under it 'Daddy's out of bourbon...'. Hummm :l
