I don't really remember people being obsessed with it and defending it too much. And promoting it too much. And disliking others for not having one.

Yeah, it just kind of came to be. Suddenly half the forum has a little Paint penguin as their avatar. Nothing to start an argument about if you ask me.

I don't see anyone getting angry over it. Some people do treat it like more than a fad though.

Watched it, loved it.

I kinda like some of these fads for the photoshopping challenge mostly. Each avatar gives me a challenge here and there. Animating ones especially.

Example:
-Mine had a bunch of frames, and I had to overlay and edit the glasses for a majority of the frames.
-Blarghityblarg's :3 for the cat was quite a challenge in transformation (again with the frames). I like how that one turned out especially. It looks more friendly than the old one.
