Aha!

Conclusive proof that there is no evolution because God has good taste in footwear.

Refute that, WRONGTHEISTS.

Obviously the fact that shoes have not changed over the course of centuries mean that God is real.

The archaeologists put the shoe's remarkable preservation down to the stable, cool and dry conditions in the cave and the fact that the floor of the cave was covered by a thick layer of sheep dung.
How exactly does a shoe end up in a deep layer of sheep dung?  :P

I would bet money Andrew has edited things retroactively, except I can't prove anything because it was edited retroactively.

The article from Discovery says that there were some other ritual items buried in the cave, so...... go figure.

Despite discovery of articles of clothing, police are no close to finding the body of "Shoeless Uhg" or his killer.

What happened was, the direct descendant of a man now known as 'shoe guy' was born with the inescapable feeling that he was somehow forgetting something.

He found the shoe and may now sleep easy.
