Erm. "Major weaponry aiming, easy to entertain myself." Are not valid skills...

First, you can only have two basics, second, they are both not valid. Here are valid skills:

Last time you have to fix this, I promise.

Err, Para is likely sleeping right now. So he's on AI. I probably should have checked before I PMed him. :P

Can I be a random ace pilot flying the generic fighter #283 in the Xecobian armada?
I don't know... Twelve players really stretches my limit. Not now. When/If you do get in, I'll do it though PMs to keep it secret from other players. Though all of the turns will be released when you guys meet up.

Turn 2: The more the worse.

Look up the ships specs. Captain lets go to Luyten 726-8 Already.
[4]: You look up the ships specs. Wait, you think you've seen this before...

Spoiler: Roadviper (click to show/hide)

You shout from the engine room. Urging the captain to get a move on.

Bring up a simulation of the right side weapons and turrets to get familiarized with the range and sighting capabilities as well as any other limits such as barrel overheating, etc that would be critical in a fight.
[1]: You watch a simulation, man is this boring... You fall asleep.

Get this show on the road. (figuratively speaking...)
[6]: You rush to your seat, not even waiting for the captain. You leave the station, a bit roughly, nearly hitting a battleship. You aim for Luyten 726-8, and start the drive, the humming of the drive resonating across the ship.

"Uh, right! Thank you tower, we're launching now. I'm sure of it."

Now get us to Luyten.
[4]: You walk to your chair, give Frelock a stern stare. And sit down.

Agh, what is with me? I keep trying to do a proper systems check. I will do a search for all known intel on the Xecobians.
[4]: You check the systems, A-ok!

You check the systems for Intel on Xecobians.

...

Surprisingly little is known about them. Nothing you already don't know (Read first post). You'll have to be more specific.

Quote from: Paranatural (AI)
Get to my position.
[4]: Erm, you walk to your post. Not sure how much more awesome I can make it though.

As your drive starts, you notice another ship following you. The Jolly Smew. A few seconds later...

In 2267, Tomas Alex Smith was the first to discover Faster Than Light travel. He described it as: "A mysterious sensation. I felt like time was stretched, I lost feeling in my body, I had a 360 view... All this was in less than a minute, yet it felt like nearly an hour."

You too felt this mysterious sensation. If only for a few minutes.

You arrive at the sys- Aw hell!

(Again, please ignore the god darn box that's in the middle of nowhere).

HCA Space station: "New contact, it's USDF."

HCA fighter leader: "Oh thank god! Glad you guys are here! Mind giving us some assistance with those Frigates and that carrier? We'll keep the fighters off your six."

Tips for making this RTD easier for me.
You don't have to do these things, but it makes running this RTD much more easier. And prevents accidents.

Here's some things you can do to make things easier for me:
Bold your actions, makes it a whole lot easier for me. Since I can distinguish it from normal text. See why?
Tell me your ship at the start of the post. It saves me from having to look for your character. Bolding it will make me happy. Be sure to add parentheses.
Italicize your dialogue if you have any. Bolding it makes it even more easy to distinguish. Be sure to at quotation marks ("...") too.

An example of a turn, not exactly the best way, just an example:
Quote
(Ship XXX)

Fire at the fighter.

"This one's a real bugger mate!"

This will, in the long run, make this RTD better. For viewers, players, and me.

I'll add the stats of Xecobian ships and such next turn. I have already exhausted my imagination. Please tell me if I got anything wrong, 12 players is really stretching my limit.

Don't complain if it's somewhat crappy, or I'll strangle you through the internet.

"This is it, our first engagement as a crew"

If we get close enough, i unload my AAPMACs at the closest frigate, otherwise, i assist the cap'n in getting us there

Edit: added ship name

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Help the captain go where he wishes, if enemies attack, get to frontal gunnery position.

Your call, captain.  I'd advise moving around the back to strike at that carrier from the rear.  Might be a good idea to use the Jolly Smew as a decoy too.

(Captain Silo, Roadviper)

Maneuver the ship through that "channel" on the left, between the derelict craft and the active ones, heading towards the frigate/carrier. Give the gunners enough time to fire, but follow the channel away from the action if we start taking fire.

"Roadviper acknowledges, engaging nonfighters."

"Frelock and Paranatural, unload with the AAPMACs, preferably on the carrier. Try to save the MMCLs until their shields are down or we know they don't have any. Turret gunners, don't even bother until you're sure they're not shielded. Hold your fire or go for the fighters in the meantime."

If there is any damage to the ship in the fight I will try to repair it Captain! Appartently there could be some sort of command ship, our sprite class ships are holding themselves for the moment so if we go up and then to the 3 ships at the top, Maybe with the The jolly smew?

Wake the fuck up, man the guns and be ready to take out any fighters that get too close. Then when the carriers shields are down, hit it with full power.

I fly the ship up north(mapwise) and position the ship aiming at the side of the left frigate.
Battlestations men! Wolfchild, prepare to fire main guns at that frigate. Gunners, lets try for focused fire on that same frigate, we want to hit 'em hard!

Watch for the Frigiates, fire missiles at them when they are within range. Until they are within range, take shots at the enemy fighters.

Fire guns when ready, concentrating fire on the frigate that SHADOWdump is talking about.
