I dont think Bush was as dumb as he affected to be. I think it was a show aimed towards his public.

Well, either you can assume it's what it was on the surface or you can take the conspiracy theorist path.

Doesn't change the outcome though, which is waaaay too many people thinking Bush is an idiot for that plan to have worked, if indeed there was one.

Or option D: he simply had excellent connections, like his dad being president.

Well, it's possible to say that a dumb person would be put in power because they would be easy to control.

That's still the conspiracy theorist path.

On the other hand, that means fucking Cheney was in charge.

Suddenly, the government's standing foreign policy (commonly known as "blow that shit up") makes sense.

Just because it's conspiracy territory doesn't mean it doesn't make a helluva lot of sense.

Therein lies one of the huge flaws of communism. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, not always at once, but eventually.
really? where does it say that communism provides anyone with absolute power? dictatorships do that, not communism.

If I understand, the philosophy of Communism is "From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs."

The thing is, who decides what individuals are capable of producing, or what their needs are?

that's simple, you put qualified people doing qualified work and unqualified people doing unqualified work, you give them food, shelter, you pay their transportation bills, health bills, and spend the rest of the money with everyone equally, either giving everyone the same stuff to everyone, or building public facilities that everyone can use

You put you give you pay you spend you dominate you control you subdue you command...

You presume to know better than the people, and from your 'ability' of knowing better you are dictator with absolute power.

If someone's intelligent enough, he continues school. Maybe he will study. He can then work in a place according to his abilities.

I imagine the ideal implementation of the system is to put people through an education system, and not just El Presidente handpicking doctors from birth. Now the method for choosing who's the most qualified for something boils down to 'who actually has qualifications'.

whats wrong with putting doctors working in clinics and technicians doing technical jobs and unqualified workers doing stuff that doesnt need qualifications? and is there anything wrong about paying their basic expenses and satisfying their basic needs? do you disagree with me when i say that someone who studied medicine is more qualified to work as a doctor than someone who didn't? do you disagree with me when i say that everybody needs food and shelter?

Nikov actually has a skewed enough world view/is enough of a troll that he actually does think it's wrong to give people food and shelter.
