Following Jesus wasn't the main focus, although it was certainly one. It was doing good.

If you were truly following Jesus, doing good came natural.

Got my own form of Communism. One that I believe could survive in a today world.
Been a Communist for a long time. Throat still gets tired from explaining so many times that Russia wasn't communist.

Tire out your fingers for a change, you've piqued my interest.

Don't explain it or anything.  How is your version different and how would it survive in a today world?

Explain both then.

A wild Compromise appears!

Haha, Now I've never read the Communist Manifesto, nor do I find myself a smart person beyond the average around my town. So this isn't fully developed and still has some major flaws, but I'll sum it up.

It requires a complete overhaul. You disband the government, and leave the protection of citizens in the hands of the citizens. Effectively making them all their own "country" basically. Yet they don't assign people above anyone else. Just because they have a militia, does not mean the militia is any better than the civilians. It just means they have a different title. A different job that will run the entire machine that is the town.

Making each town into its own little communist village leaves everyone weak. That's why the entire world would need a complete overhaul. Or anyone could just waltz in and invade. If everyone is the same, who is there to fight? Only the ones who refuse it. The ones who steal, the ones who try to disband it.

I think this might be possible. Yet like I said it's still highly undeveloped and unstable. It might require a large military force for a couple years until it can be sorted out, but then the military will also be disbanded.

I know I'm forgetting something...

You're forgetting everything.  That idea reminds me of Dreadfang's plan to take over the world (oh that one takes me back.)

How do you completely disband and overhaul every government in the world?  How do you make everyone okay with being equal?

Magic?

It's neither possible or workable because of the sheer number of people who would oppose it, basically.

Like I said. Missing huge components.
Lets wait till 2012 when everything gets destroyed, whos left can live.

But seriously, What if a day comes when people do really get tired of Democracy and try for something new? Something where they rule entirely.

Well, I can tell you now that that day is not going to be the same one for everyone all over the world.

There's a reason that when the Russians rebelled and formed a Communist country, the rest of the world didn't do the same thing.
