Which specific zip file did you download?  df_31_06_win.zip, or df_31_06_legacy.zip?  Did you copy tilesets from a previous version?

legacy.zip and i took a fresh tileset herrbdog, to point it

Please try a COMPLETELY VANILLA download, with NO CUSTOM FILES WHATSOEVER.  If the Herrbdog set was in PNG format, it will not work in Legacy.

î completely vanillaŽd and it works, but tilesit in bmp doesnt work at all, it is strange and has no text

It seems that resizing has changed a bit.
When I go from full screen to partial screen (f11) the partial screen is still large enough to fill my desktop, as opposed to the much smaller windowed mode in previous versions.

please fix bug with id number 0000008... the game has been unplayable for 6 versions now.

For the curious, that bug is 0000008: Dwarves voluntarily work until hungry/thirsty/starving/dehydrated, get bad thoughts, can even die (and make low-quality stuff).

Just oversee the work areas and make sure to cancel all work if some dwarves get dehydrated/hungry. Works especially well if used with Manager job assignments. Cancelled jobs pop right back, but meanwhile the dwarves have already decided to go and drink.

Selecting and deselecting large swaths of tiles is incredibly annoying, and does, in my opinion, make the game unplayable.

That being said, I look forward to the next release. Keep up the good work Toady/Baughn!

Hi!

First of all, thank you for the hard work, Toady One. I have just genned a world in the new version and will start testing soon.

Secondly, I have to admit that I am always surprised of how differently the bugs affect people. As I said before, I never had any problems with the overworking - yes, there are the negative thoughts, which seem a bit out of place, but regardless of whether they are digging, doing repeated jobs, or singular or automatic jobs, my dwarves always stop in time and go to get food and drink.
