Okay, that's it. I'm in.

OH MY GOD UNINSTALLING THE OLD NAVYFIELD I HAD WIPED OUT MY DESKTOP.
None of the icons are there anymore.  Crap I now can't find my Dwarf Fortress and LCS files.

I played this for a bit, got a decent destroyer and quite enjoyed it, but I ended up quiting due to the fact battles were filled with bigger and more powerful ships, because of some of the limitations of free players, and because I got annoyed with some of the game mechanics. Still this thread has tempted me to return.

Grind through destroyers to get to light cruisers.

Cruisers like the M-Project are absolutely a blast to play. It is exhilarating to engage a ship in 1-1 combat and win.

On that note, playing as a german destroyers, I sunk quite a few ships in my time, sprinting to launch torpedoes and open up with my dual-barrel guns.

Unfortunately the game isn't working- apparently due to a corrupt memory or something. I'll probably get round to fixing it some time, but there are ton of games I'm playing at the moment that work just fine so it could be a while until I get back into this.

I have no idea what the fuck happened there?

Also started a second Crew to work up to KM Subs, currently around level 20ish. (Levels go fast that early + CL to help power level)

I'm doing this because I love subs... not to mention I saw a KMSS rip into a CL with some sort of machine gun and sink it.

I RESURRECT THEE FROM THE DEAD, FORUM THREAD.

So, new stuff. Lots of new stuff. Premium carriers, Russian navy, French navy, and a planned Italian navy.

I'm planning a Bay-12 Fleet, so anyone will be welcome to join. I would prefer it if you played allied/comintern ships so it looks all nice and period-correct, but I understand if you don't.

Do you know why all italian battleships have their guns at the back of the ship? ;)

... so they can fire while drawing in other ships to perform a beautiful pincer maneuver, much like the ancient mongols?
