DO NOT under any circumstances be put off from buying premium because of the community/landscape of GV.
Freedom is much better in that regard.

I'll warn you though, the free server community is utter crap.
Thus why I refuse to play on it, even with an alt.  I just can't stand them..

If you're actually MR, you're not on the free server.
The registration page is worthlessly out of date.
You might have signed up that way, but you're a Freedom-national on Golden Valley (the free server) unless you've specifically gone prem and teleported out.
