Oh, man, I seriously think I have performed the greatest--or at least most ridicuous--over-kill ever. I was playing as a psychopathic murderer in Adventure Mode, when  decided to attack a kid.


This showed up:

You hack at The Child in the upper body with your *®*Iron battle axe*¯*!
It is cloven asunder!
The Child is propelled away by the force of the blow!
The Child slams into an obstacle!
The upper body collapses into a lump of gore!
The head is mangled!
The head is smashed into the body, an unrecognizable mass!
The upper body collapses into a lump of gore!
The upper body collapses into a lump of gore!
The right upper arm is mangled!
The right hand is mangled!
The right hand is mangled!
The right lower arm is mangled!

I am still trying to visualize this in my head. It isn't working.

It happens.  I think it's when they slam into the obstacle with enough force for the parts to have been completely annihilated multiple times over.

I generally think of that as the body being processed into a fine red mist on impact.

It's far more interesting when you get a "the child collides with an obstacle and blows apart!" kill.  Bodyparts go everywhere.  Stuff you didn't even know you needed to survive.

Yeah, I know. I've been violently murdering people in Adventure mode for over 3 months, and with literally over 200 adventurers, all over of whom have met a grave.

i all ways view it as the body whiping back on it self in recoil.

Think of it as a kind of organic cluster bomb.  The lower body blasts into several smaller chunks, which splatter in smaller explosions shortly thereafter.

Incredibly destructive, but only to the bear itself.

Nice...but is it possible in the latest version? Or do you have "Legendary" stats/ good weapons to make targets explode in gore or propel horses miles away?

Ipan had Grand Master in Hammering skills. I made another guy with legend, and he sent everything off-screen (unless there was a wall in the way, in which point there would body parts flying everywhere.)

Ah, the joys of smashing literally 20+ kids into a wall and watching them explode~

Some Dwarf Children Were beating the fuck out of me so I decided to jump into a fortress.
