Electro experimental music
« on: June 06, 2010, 05:21:07 pm »

Yeah, I finally managed to make some music and put it on last.fm. It's just some experimental stuff I made with my Roland MC 505 named "Suse" and I only can hope, someone finds this music to be enjoyable.
Before you ask: I asked Toadys permission to use the name "All Hail Armok!"
On http://www.last.fm/music/Antsan/All+Hail+Armok! you can find the music itself, it's free to download and to listen to. To listen to the music without downloading, click onto the title of the track you wanna hear and then click on "Play direct from Antsan".

Of course I would like to receive some feedback.

That's because the "!" is part of the link. Will fix that immediately.

I enjoyed a few of these.
Pretty neat.
Did you use free programs to make this?

Hey, answers! :) Schweet!

The "program" I used is a real-life groove box, so... it will be hard to find one of those for free, I guess.
I recorded most of those songs with Audacity an my computer, "Happy Worksong" and "Summer Evening" are recorded with Ardour GTK.

Also I would be thrilled, if you could tell me, which songs you liked and why and what didn't sound so good and could be done better and so on. :D

That's actually pretty good stuff. I wouldnt put it up there with Essential electro. It seems really primitive, isnt very energetic, and could use a few samples to make it really feel like "electro." It's really crude.

It's just okay. Not very elaborate... some of it is pleasing to the ear, some is not.
