Epic fight with Edanol was epic.

I'll work on the poem in the first post as soon as I get some rhymes. If you ever encounter that other party again, it will likely be the most difficult (but still possible) fight in this entire campaign, considering that they were built to be exactly equal to the party.

Mazwadmarg the Zealous has been forged! This mighty (level 15) priest of Orcus was created in the time that it took to get enough players to start the campaign on Sunday. Note the item list on the right side. It was created with a budget of 200,000 GP, the standard for level 15 characters.

The 'Vicious Light Mace of Brilliant Light' is the offhand weapon, used for crushing all that stand before Mazwadmarg!

The 'Mace of Smiting' is the main weapon, used for crushing those who are not alive!

Mazwadmarg's mighty (+8) Composite Longbow is able to pierce the very heavens, and cannot be drawn by any normal man. With the 'Wings of Flying', Mazwadmarg can take to the sky and rain death upon all he surveys!

EDIT: There will be no games until mid-August. I'm leaving on vacation with my family on the 30th and will be internet-less. If it turns out that I find I computer to use, I'll let you know.

I wonder if we can build up some currency to gain a few weeks with two sessions. Meh, didn't work last time...

I'm sure we can try.

Also, while I'm gone, you guys can get enough XP to all be at level 3 when I get back. Just assume you spent the interim hunting goblins or something.

I just read a few tips/tricks on how to be a better combat rogue... now I want to be the party rogue again... although I am kinda having fun being the party healbot, so I'm not going to sacrifice Esori to the gods of Altitis just yet.

Also, you're allowed to be exalted and still kill stuff, as long as you do so in moderation and make sure it's for a good cause. Just try and be like me: wait for someone to show hostility, prepare an action to nuke them, and then when they try to attack you, YOU NUKE THEM. Technically Esori is exalted too, he just doesn't have any exalted feats/items and doesn't care about his exalted status as long as he's helping people (and researching magic, which is basically the core essence of the universe).

Or you could be like Callad and not actually have any offensive abilities. Also, walking up to the slavering troll and asking about the weather can be loads of Fun!

Although I think That Callad would have lost exalted against those insect empires, making an effort to kill all of the raiding parties to stop them reporting home, turns out that it would have been very good to have succeeded at that...

umm, he also serves a diety of MERCY, a draconic diety of mercy, but a diety of mercy nonetheless

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

Oh, by the way, that was not Kevkul doing a Callad and talking to everything. It was Kevkul walking up and dealing with a clearly inferior group, confident that having that many defensive powers up was enough that they wouldn't pose any threat. Unfortunately they were being disagreeable and would have gotten a mind crush if that fight had lasted any longer...

SCIENCE!

Also, I got your PM, Barb. I'm interested, I was bumming around GitP while bay12 was freaking out on me.
What level are you guys, and what has happened so far?

Make a character that just hit level three, and look at the first post for the first couple sessions. I'm currently writing all the other verses, because there have been a lot more.

(Could somebody else explain what's happened to Akigagak? I'd do it, but I'm afraid I'll divulge some information that you guys don't know.)

We... might not have a fighter. I could be mistaken though.
