The reason we started so early before, I thought, was to give Neruz coffee-time

Yeah... I just use the time before the game to make maps. Although I don't think I'll ever have enough time to make enough content for a whole session. Luckily I improvise easily.

Well, that took a really long time. Thoughts on the fight? Who got the fangs/leather armor?

Anything that could be remedied in my encounter style?

You really can both sig it.

As party telepath I demand the brooch that the telepathic octopus had.*
As party elf I demand both the swords so I can dual-wield them and be completely original and stuff... Can they be remade into scimitars?
On a more serious note, I have 6 strength, but can wield a longsword and could conceivably find myself wanting a melee weapon. So if there is a spare I would like it, but basically it is a waste of an item...

The fight was kinda fun... although I ran flat out of my own spells, and all I had left was a shot of burning hands (which I couldn't get into position to use) and 3 shots of Hold Person, which only work on humanoids. Other than those I was down to vials of alchemists fire and good ol' lame morningstar.
