I'm going to be quite late for that game, due to work.

Am I the only one who thinks that they are an hour late to a session?

I think Barb might have just miscounted. I heard Tuesday (wednesday in some locales) and it is currently Monday.

Why... is it always... monday...

Because it is Tuesday, you would have reached Tuesday too if you weren't so lazy...

We're going to have to delay the session for a day. I just got back from visiting my dad at the hospital, and I need a day to recover.

PS: The surgery went well, but the wait was (oddly enough) exhausting.

You really can both sig it.
But... That would break the laws of sigging! We can't have everyone running around with the same quotes. IT MAKES THEM UNFUNNY FASTER!

the wait was (oddly enough) exhausting.

I know how that goes... you get into your uniform, rush out into your place because you are on a 3-minute deadline, and then you stand there at parade rest (in a uniform, in 40 degrees Celsius weather, probably no shade) for 40 minutes while they wait for your slot in the parade to pass by...

Marching band teaches you a lot about life  :P

Also yayz for successful surgery

Oh man, Shoruke, I didn't know you did marching band. And yeah. Or, how about in the pouring rain, waiting for an hour and hoping to god that your uniform doesn't freeze because the wind starts up. Funtimes.

I suspect you've never tried doing many illegal things yet in your game. The second the CCS knows you're "active", they'll come down on you like the hammer of God.

Marching band is fun, but practicing marching band is not. Luckily it's just a section of our normal HS band, so it's in moderation.

What instruments do you guys play? (I play the Baritone Horn, T.C.)

Oh we've done performances in the rain. Some times I worried I'd have to replace the water soluble parts on my instrument. I've played flute since grade 6, so... 7 years now. Also I was a drum major in my last year of marching band. The funny thing is, I usually speak really quietly, so I tend to swing between being the person who speaks quietest and being the person who SHOUTS THE LOUDEST! BAND TEN HUT! and wields the +4 Shrill Whistle of Deafening. Band tour is always fun though, the MACBDA tour involves going right by Six Flags and Wisconsin Dells and the Traverse City cherry festival and sometimes the Mall of America, so we always stop by and have some fun.

Yes. I may be awake, but I'm certainly not prepared to run a session, having not had the time to set up any maps, nor much sleep.
