All sov tiles are removed when you teleport, but you don't need to teleport before hand. Since there's still plenty of time before then, theres still plenty of reason to sov

I have absolutely no idea what's going on in this fort any more. Migrants arrive, they die for some reason, the fort is flooded for another reason, then dwarves go mad, more dwarves die and I'm just laughing in my distress.

I keep playing this browser based game, but I always end up getting a few days past newbie protection then getting bored or pwnt by some player that somehow built a huge army within 3 days.

New people will want to send a message to Akura or Aelfric in Illyriad. Akura is the founder but I believe Aelfric can invite also. Make sure to tell them what the solution to all problems is so we know you're from the forums. (It will save one of them having to jump back to here and look up the thread to verify)

Invitation has been sent to Uristn?m and maxicaxi. If you could/would, you should relocate closer using the one-off teleportation spell to our central location in SW quadrant. We have laid claim on an island and in the process of populating another.

Windseekers Islands: A lot of members have placed their cities there. We renamed it Armokfall.
Farra Island: A large island East of Windseekers. We only have five cities there so far.

I was curious about the changes since I last played, so I tried logging into my account. Surprisingly enough, everything is intact just like I left the cities months ago. If it was not for the filled storage and insane amount of gold, mana and research, it could look like I never stopped playing. In fact, I am considering coming back.

The game has been in rapid development. The world now has biomes and, soon enough, NPC factions.

Gilanor account is available for grab if you want an accelerated come back.

Back ingame. I'll stick with my 1300ish population; I already find it hard enough to get back into something after months of inactivity, I would rather stick to my own mess.

I'll give myself a few days before moving my cities and asking to rejoin StA, to make sure my interest does not wear off too quickly :P  Since I am busy with school, the slow/relaxed pace (as proven by my still standing cities) should be an advantage now, unlike during the summer when I was getting kinda bored.

Well, welcome back, alex. The pace of the game suits my activities so I've been sticking to it. We may have a war soon enough with an alliance that is comparable to us by number of members. Prepare yourself.  ;D

I've been looking around Windseekers/Farra islands, but I just can't decide on a good location for relocalisation. Windseekers has too much mountain and too little forest for my treehugging ways and Farra, from what I've read, is where we can expect troubles in the near futur. I would appreciate some suggestions.

The best tile you can have for defense is a mountain. Archers (your best units) get penalised in forest. Forests are good for orcs who specialise in spearmen.
