Well, this is surprising.

The police have covered our whole street with cop cars and who knows how many unmarked ones (at least 3). A bunch of them came out strapped with AKs and SMGs, and ran into the building across the street (a government office building). Several ambulances also showed up, although they have yet to be used for something. Rumour has it that there's been a huge heist at the government building, or some sort of murder.

Hopefully, it'll all be over tomorrow.

Step 3: Monologue about the crimes committed, who did them, and why. Even if you don't know anything about what the actual crime was.

And I don't live in a bad neighbourhood... It's quiet and things like this don't normally happen. Which is why everyone rushed outside to ogle the cops (from a safe distance).

And alway, if I did that I'd prolly get shot.

I'm in Gothenburg, second largest in Sweden. We don't get as much "stuff" as Stockholm.
Considering my luck though, this is prolly much less awesome than it all seems to be.

EDIT: It turns out that a woman tried to shoot herself and slit her own and her childrens' throats, and take some other down with her. Man, that's crazy stuff.

Everyone knows what a Ferrari is too, but I don't tell people I'm driving a Ferrari when I'm actually driving a beat up Ford Festiva.

That's not a comment on the supposed quality of either of the weapons discussed, just a comment on how silly it is to name a completely different gun, when "assault rifles" would have sufficed.  They're probably M4s, unless the Swedish guys use something else.

Some guy in England went on a rampage, some dude in Turkey stabbed a Bishop, some shit in Holland I mean god damn what is the entire world turning into a ghetto in America or something

To be fair, when seeing heavily armed police, you're usually more concerned about staying away from whatever it is they're moving towards.

There was quite a shocking case in Britain yesterday which left 12 (apparently random... or it was possible the killer actually knew the first victim) people and the shooter dead.  It's... pretty scary, somehow, and the worst such incident here since Dunblaine.
