I have finished day 7 with everyones actions

MONTAGE MODE: all of week 2.
FACT:  Everyone-once in a while I will invoke a montage...
FACT: ... this one will progress time forward 7 days.
FACT: What i request from each player is awhoppping 14 shifts, as everyone works doubletime the whole week.
FACT: To balance this hard work out, I assume everyone eats and drinks double since we have plenty of food and drink at the moment.

In a montage you have the power of artistic licence. Describe the scenes of your character working his shifts
Example: Oddom the Woodworker wishes to learn the fine art of axefighting, He Seizes his trusty felling axe and twirls it judging it for ballance...Imagining himself hewing those tall humans left and right he swings his axe to and fro in the privacy of his room...Soon grunts and panting can be heard echoing down the fortress hallways...In the end he twirls his axe standing dramatically on the peak of a volcano and swinging his axe at 2 target dummies to his left and right...The Dummies fall in front of him after a short delay, Oddom posing melodramatically... (Oddom uses all 14 shifts training axe- that contributes 114 hours to axe skill and may be enough to give him a permanent point in his skill)

NOTE: I will give a special bonus to anyone who presents an example of the music used for his montage, A link to youtube will do. Here is an example montage for inspiration   http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yLuOl36vamI

A dwarf, gathering plants. Stripping away the uncomfortable bits. Forming them into bedding in a dark basement.
A dwarf, carefully creating chairs. He takes his time, lovingly engraving scenes of a violent battle. He is finished, and begins working on tables.
A dwarf, digging a pit. He is satisfied that it is done; he begins building walls to keep the mud out. He stands, admiring his work.

(2 shifts spent making 3 stone chairs and 3 stone tables, focusing on quality and detail, and artistically decorating them with engravings of a battle against a giant sloth, a dwarven caravan, and bats. (Each table/chair will be a set, with similar engravings.) They will be set-up temporarily in one of the planned workshop rooms.
2 shifts spent gathering soft plants and forming them into bedding, in the basement.
10 shifts spent on the remaining basement. This includes digging it out, creating any blocks that need to be made, forming the blocks into walls, floors, and a ramp, and building a hatch over the ramp. Any extra time will be spent making blocks.)

Eral decided to show local wildlife that they shouldn't dare to think about getting expedition's booze or food. The dwarf went on the killing spree. She killed anything that couldn't run from the dwarf and her dog.

One day she madly fell entire tree only to reach the small nest with several birds. Next day she destroyed all ants colonies that she could find... Another day she found a small turtle and chopped it to tiny pieces with her axe.... In lucky days she returned in the camp covered with blood of dozens creatures

all 14 shifts :- Hunt with dog, find anything alive that is not dwarf or pet (from insects and worms to elves ), sadistically kill, butcher if useful, bring resources to the camp,  look for another victim.
Do not avoid any fight, even the most dangerous. Ignore wounds.

Urist was thirsty from all of this work. Work, work, work! He decided he needed to drink. So he drinks, and brews, and drinks, and brews. Drinks...Brews....Drinks....Brews

All 14 Shifts- Brew. Anything. Then drink some. Start drinking first for the bonus.

Since some of his companions decided to work themelves to death, it was time to dig out a real hospital.
The good doctor took up his mighty pick and set to work.
Hours spent carving a staircase up a level at the end of the main hallway.
Hours more digging a corridor to the absolute perfect stretch of rock.
Hours more excavating at a large room in the middle of the iron deposit, and then more spent finishing the individual rooms, the storeroom, the operating room, and what he hoped to be a future well room.
And yet there was not a single door, bed, or table to be found.
All my shifts go towards creating my hospital.

Each morning Nanothnir rises and checks his field, harvesting when needed, planting when needed and plowing more land when needed. Using the simple Hatchet and Shovel he gathers Vine Whip from the mountain side, examine the area for other pants and low qual wood that during the night before sleep he carves into shoddy arrows. When the vine whip is turned into Booze he plants those plants aswell...
When time is spared he practices with his bow and holds tightly to it while he stands guard...

14shifts to use...
6shifts devoted to cultivating the crops (Planting, Harvesting, Plowing and caring for them)...
3Shifts devoted to Collection of Wild Plant life, targeting Whip Vine on the first shift, as well as collecting Wood with hatchet on way back to camp...
2Shifts Devoted to Crafting arrows from the wood collected...
3Shifts Devoted to Standing Guard and Practicing Archery...

WEEK 2

Nanothnir's farm grows and grows, his skills truly showind as many new blades of young muckroot spring up. He contributes 144 days of icky but fast growing muckroot, harvestable at seasons end. His plant collecting brings in 4 days of unprocessed whip vine and 4 days of more palatable bloated tubers, and 12 wood back to camp. His archery skill grows to new levels, his nimble fingers now enable him to draw, knock and shoot an arrow in 2 seconds flat, he is officially a dabbling archer, although his natural finess with the bow still outshines his official skill. 80 arrows are expended by the training.

Doc evaluates the halls of stone and tries to remember how to find iron, without any clear signs in the area he plays his lucky and digs an exploratory tunnel towards the best bet, straight down. He digs a mineshaft down at the end of the tunnel and damn his luck but he finds it 210 levels down. The Hospital ends up as 11 by 11 square with a stone staircase right in the middle of it and raw hematite iron ore along the walls.  It is more than a little out of the way from the main fortress, but it is just as the doc wanted, besides the 210 rock and 24 units of iron ore littering the place. He gain a skill level in Mining

Ochita gives Doc's pick back to him and must dig with inferior equipment, namely a jurryrigged log with a rock lashed to the end. Incredibly his skill in mining allows him to dig 179 squares and as many units of rock. It takes 43 to finish the rooms and the leftover 136 is spend digging another exploratory mineshaft, 84 levels down Ochita has struck silver! and mines out 13 units of ore.

Urist repairs his makeshift still and remains secluded with it in one of the interior rooms. He drinks to warm up and drinks to start, drinks as he works and drinks some more to sample the quality. His memmory is fuzzy after that, but when he comes to, there are 1120(not a typo) units of the harshest and most potent swamp whiskey known to dwarvenkind, or at least there would be if there were enough barrels. Urist is soaked is alcohol, the ground has alcohol pooled in the recesses and puddles run out into the hallway. Urist staggers out of the room with bloodshot red eyes to get away from the potent fumes. Countless bottles litter the ground and the fumes are probably an explosion hazard. He wonders whether whether to share the results of his work with the others, normal dwarves might regard it the work of a madman....or a genius.

Eral goes on a killing spree, The list of dead include... A Skeletal Moose, 4 undead carp, a grimeling, 2 ogres, was wounded by a pack of harpies but prevailed and most notably fought a werewolf on the slopes of the volcano, but wounds did not stop her. Sadly most of these are not butcherable but the miscelaneous critters did contribute 18 units of meat to the stocks. She gains a level in shield use. The shield is in tatters, her leather armour is penetrated, and her copper axe is so worn she got some better slashes in with her teeth.

Nirur torrir completes his work, 2 twin basements hide beneath the surface under their stone hatches. The chairs are completed, as a set they depict a scene of battle, the worksmanship is hurried, done in only a few spare hours but the work adds 168 bucks to the value of the chairs, truly a testament to the power of having the proper tools and a decent workshop. With Ochitas help and a few more rescources the worshop is transformed into more of a work-command-center, with a central seat and every tool in reach on the new shelves and desks. The Tables also gain 320 bucks worth of value as Ochita engraves them all around the perimiter with deeply carved simple symbols. Nirur also gain a permantent increase in masonry skill!

Cog brings back 24 days worth of unprepared fish from all his fishing, he catches catfish and milkfish, and he happens to dredge up a small chest as a bonus. It contains a set of chisels, a hand drill, climbing crampons, and an ice climbing axe. His personal shelter is also complete, being nearly the equivalent of a cabin. However the walls are not nearly as sturdy as a log cabin. The chimmeney is a good touch though.

EVENT, DAY 15 A caravan has arrived!

A group of Snailmen meander in towards the camp curiously. There are 5 of them, and they slowly slime their way forward with their goods strapped firmly atop a giant spiky turtle, with a terrarium containing 3 monkeys perched precariously aat the peak. They are mostly armed and lightly armoured, they have backup weapons stacked and strapped to their shells, they wield slings or dart throwers, and morningstars or wheighted rope weapons and a shell shield. Their armour if any is bone. They have a war alligator on a chain.

Their leader says eagerly "Hellooooooo! dwarfies! I saw some faint wagon ruts along my shortcut, and took the risk of following it. Cant make money without a little risk huh?. Are you stouties willing to trade?" his eyestalks wiggle as he talks.

Nirrur crafts 320 bucks worth of stone crafts by the end of the day, his workshop works ok for stonecrafting but it is not ideal, and a lack of specific crafting tools slows him down, but he makes do with masonry tools. still, motivated by opportunity he crafts mugs and mini-anvils at an alarming rate

Ochita works with Nirrur. Grabbing a craft and engraving it with whatever spare masonry tools are nearby. His lack of fine coordination makes him stumble a bit, but he is not new to engraving and adds 160 bucks worth of value to the crafts.

Eral Rests and recouperates, her axe too.

Urist socializes with the traders he learns they will be coming back this way just after winter.

Moods
Nirur; tired-.
Ochita exhausted --.
Eral; recuperated +.
Urist socialises +.

Day 16 approaches...
