Everyone swings again at the wheezing, pallid bear. Eral not even bothering to get up before buring her axe in its belly. The bear looks up at Org with its tounge hanging out before he smashes its face. A few more blows put it to an end and the spilled whiskey reaches the fire and quickly runs up to the barrel of booze...
Anyway Org there is some obsidian that you could use to make your mace better maybe?

Ochita frantically hurls scoops of mud and the flaming trail of booze, forsaking even their injured fellow dwarf. The mud glops put out small patches untill Org dives dramatically and bellyflops onto the trail, halting its progress untill the mud puts it out.

So going with Sixth Sense...
What more would you want from a Dwarf Bowman Farmer who can sense when somethings coming from behind while also know that the crop of Pigtales on the other side of the Fortress needs to be harvested...

Oh wait, thats the norm isn't it...

Scratch that, going with PTSD... Twitchy Archer for the win...

Hey can we get an update on the first post with Profiles and Maps soon???

Update first post? ok ur wish is my command

Day 7... Complaints - about lack of proper beds. Grumblings - about lack of dining area.

Urist and Eral butcher the slothbeast, their teamwork enables them to finish in half the time and still have time to admire their handi-work +. The skin is peeled off and cast aside for now it seems. The Refuse accumulates outside near the tents, Sloth skin, bearskin, fats and bones. the bear provides 14 weeks worth of meat once cooked. During their full rest break they admire the promising begginings of a small fort.

Ochita goes on break+, His mini vacation repenishes his spirits +and muscles+.

Nirur works alone in his workshop, where he can really focus with just his tools and a pile oe of rocks, he turns 6 rocks into blocks and a hatch of stonefor the basement. With the hatch in place the basement now looks like a proper dwarven room. The worksmanship is outstanding and i will make a fine room for whatever purpose it ends up as.

Nanothnir pulls some weeds from the crops and gets a full 8 hours in of archery practice, using up 10 arrows in the process.

Doc treats Eral, 1 bandage and 1 bottle of wine later and some sutchers and although painfull to move, she's fine as long as she does not tear the stitches out.

Cog seems to fish uneventfully at first, but he snags a massive catfish on his hook and tries to haul him out. The catfish is too strong for him and inexorably pulls cog step by step into the swamp. Cog thinks fast, and manages to tangle the catfish up and make him expend all its energy, eventually finishng it off with several unceremonious bashings from a nearby log. Although the struggle took nearly 16 hours, It will provide 10 weeks of fish once prepared, and fish is a delicious food.

Mooods
Urists mood evens out today
++Nirur
++Eral
-Ochita+1more extra dose of booze before bed makes him forget his troubles and evens out his mood
++++Doc
++Cog-tired+satisfied
++Nanothnir

Week 2 Approaches.

Yes that is correct the way i am doing it. It takes 200 hours of doing something to gain a skill up. but I wouldnt worry about it since dabbling is hardly better than no skill anyways and the increments between all skills level is the same. Its only as of day 6 anyways combat is a fast teacher too.
Spoiler (click to show/hide)

EDIT: hey anyone know how i can get a penguin avatar? i want one

Perk - die hard

1 hour - let doc fix her wounds
7 hours - butcher the bear
8 hours - eat (30% hardtack, 70% plump helmets) drink, rest
8 hours - sleep in the shack

\\\ Org you are better butcher than Eral.... why not help her? We need that hide in a good state

War must be, while we defend our lives against a destroyer who would devour all; but I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.
