Got the link to that story by my brother earlier. Crazy stuff.

Not many things scare me, but considering just how deep that is worries me for those people. I mean, that thing could only get bigger.

Now, if only there were a way to transplant the oil floating in the gulf to fill that hole up.

Is it me, or would it be a good idea to toss a kitten down the chute to see if there's anything that'll come for us from the bottom of the cave system?

Yeah, tourist attraction. There is a sinkhole around here the highway signs call "Devil's Millhopper" that people apparently spend time to look at and its not nearly as impressive as this one.

Then again, if it was a collasped sewage pipe, tourists probably won't want to spend too much time there.

Oh yeah, and with regards to photoshop, it looks kinda brown at the bottom.  I'd say that's it hitting the sewage tunnel.

Well, it looks dark toward the bottom because the hole is filled with dirty water, not because its really all that deep.
